I honestly had flashbacks to the Cards/Gmen 10-10 mnf tie when Neil O'Shankoghue missed 2-3 chipshot FGs in that one lol

Unfreakingbelievable some of the meltdowns we've had! Wow

Still should've been no worse than a 12-6 win on the DJ TD! Thanks refs :bang:
Except that game ended 20-20. The 10-10 tie was against Philly in 1986 with Eric Shubert missing a chip shot of his own.

Hell they've had so many of those prime time meltdowns they all tend to run together in my mind lol

^this. Felt more like a Browns/Jags game.

Nether team has an NFL caliber offense.

You need to look at the stats and see what our offense did against a Super Bowl caliber defense. Scoring is most important of course, and we failed... But c'mon man... the way our offense dominated that great defense proves they are incredibly "NFL" quality...

I can't believe you guys didn't enjoy that game. It was one of the most exciting Cards games I've ever watched, to tough Defenses slugging it out. Sure the outcome could have been better, and we made our fair share of mistakes. As I always say "I was entertained". That was a good old fashioned slobber-knocker.

Agree.. every play mattered, one broken play wins/loses the game.

I totally enjoyed the game... they all don't have to be shootouts to be exciting/enjoyable.

Me too, but I'm old, so I grew up watching football when defenses won championships. I loved the game last night, just not the outcome. I said to my wife if we win this game 3-0 it might be the greatest game I ever saw the cards play, and I was at the super bowl.

Agreed - but I blame Arians. They absolutely RUSHED to the line to run the next play, as if they didn't WANT the play reviewed. Didn't give the booth a chance to decide to review it. They should have done just the opposite - stalled or taken a TO (did we have one left?). Then in BA's postgame interview, he says he thinks they should have reviewed it. Then WHY RUSH THE NEXT PLAY?? Makes zero sense to me..

I think it was Carson that rushed the play, not BA. And I doubt Amos Jones will get fired this season.
