Both teams are hoping for improved defensive performances. Phoenix is last in the NBA in scoring defense (113.3 points per game) and 22nd in opponents' field-goal percentage (.452). Portland is 25th in scoring defense (109.3) but the Blazers have climbed into a tie for sixth in opponents' field-goal percentage (.436).

I actually liked Dudley but still I'm all for anything that gets the three kids minutes. I hope Ulis is the next primary backup PG with Knight spelling at 2 guard.

The next logical thing to do is to trade PJ Tucker. Dudley can be a vet backup for the 3 and 4 and Bender can also get minutes there.

It's a good move. Dudley can still play a role off the bench, and at least he helps with chemistry. Tucker is a disaster. Please, just waive him.

Brandon Knight too.

I could see the Suns cutting Brandon Knight outright like Stan Van Gundy did with Josh Smith...the Pistons have never regretted doing that and cutting him is a big season why they've been trending upwards since.

Could be true here with Knight as well.

I don't mind keeping Tucker and having him come off the bench for like 10 mins since his contract is cheap and close to ending soon.

Financially there is absolutely no way they could cut Knight. He would cost them a fortune without even being on the team.

Bledsoe just needs to be more decisive. Chriss had Plumlee right where he should have got the ball. Bledsoe hangs on to it too long and gives it to Chriss for a 3pt shot.

Luckily we have Booker and Warren to bail us out on these type of plays/decisions.
