Been up 3 hours now and am a bit like a kid on Christmas morning.

Took the dog down the beach in my Cards gear and off to get food for tonight.

I love the first Sunday of the season. I'm also a fool for all the pre-game shows and watch/record every one of them and love to sit with the remote in one hand and a cup of tea in the other even though I'm hours away from even the early games.

Same here man. Opening day is the absolute best day of the year if you're a Cardinal fan. You're right, it's like opening presents on Christmas: you think you still have a chance at the GI Joe before realizing it's just another Thundercat.

Just finished my "first" cup o' Joe watching pre game nfl. Already have the jitters for the first game. GO CARDS!!!

Have to distract myself until almost 2pm to avoid burnout...then deal with strong anxiety for 3 hours straight, but even if we lose, I can't believe it will anything as painful as last year starting with the Falcons game.
