According to KFFL. I really, REALLY hope it doesn't happen, because IMO that immediately makes them the NFC Super Bowl favorite. Wow, that would really suck!

Better than them getting Boldin I guess.

Braylon is a butterfingers. If they nabbed Boldin then I would be afraid of them, but when you combine Eli's tendency to overthrow receivers who aren't 6'5 and Braylon dropping 25% (55 receptions to 14 drops) of his passes last season, this won't be as dramatic of a shift.

Again setting up the perfect storm for the Eagles to "answer" and acquire Boldin the day of the draft.

Too much smoke for this not to be a fire IMO. If that happens then we better get one of the top backs and OLB prospects.

I think you think Edwards is better then I do. I also think the loss of Ward is a bigger deal then people think as well.

Didn't they also report Ocho Stinko to the Raiders a few weeks back?

Last I checked we are reigning champs in the NFC.

And that is a fact.

I agree. Are the Cardinals lying when they say that they have no interest in trading Boldin? Probably not. But this would get the table for the Eagles to be willing to "overpay" IMO. When an in-division rival makes a deal like this it often puts pressure on the them to match it. Chad Johnson is still an option for the Eagles though and I still don't see Boldin going anywhere, but I think the pressure for the Eagles to go after him just went up so the deal for Boldin just got sweeter. That said I still don't know if the deal is good enough to make us a better team.

Of course the Edwards to Giants deal is no sure thing.

What? Wow.

I'm surprised at the hatin' on Edwards so far in this thread. He's a good player...and only in, what, his third year? He'd be a monster in NY, IMO.

What's going on in Cleveland. Getting rid of KWII and Edwards? It's not like they're going to fall back on Stallworth and Cribbs is very, very raw and maybe won't even be a good NFL WR. But hey, they have two starting QBs, who needs other skill positions.

Draft day should be interesting. I tend to agree that something could happen with Boldin, I just wish it would get here!! So tired of mock this mock that.

They are blowing everything up and starting over.... literally.

As for Edwards. he has talent, but other than 2007, he hasn't produced. Last year was painful to watch. I can honestly say I watch a lot of Browns games and he is Troy Williamson except 2007.

first: assuming that the FO in Cleveland arent complete idiots ( yes, a key assumption)

why would they trade a young player like Braylon Edwards? Yes he has had his share of drops -- but still a very good player with a ceiling he hasnt touched (presumably).

For a team like Cleveland to willingly part with him raises a giant 4'x4' red flag about Braylon Edwards.

Or on the other hand -- maybe they are idiots in Cleveland.

I agree with your line of thinking here. Why would you trade a young, talented receiver coming off of a bad season? I would assume his trade value went down considerably after last year so why would you be so anxious to sell low if you are Cleveland?

You could say the same about Winslow.

Edwards is on the trading block because he will be a free agent after next season and wants a $10 million per year contract. Browns don't want to pay that much.

So overrated, but it'd be a good move for the Giants because he at least gives them a tall target with deep threat ability.

Share of drops is a bit of an understatement. He is reigning champion of drops.

I had Edwards on my fantasy team last year. What a waste. Since he was a premier player, I couldn't trade him. If he plays this year like he did last year, the Giants can have him.

Dear Lord, please let Ocho Cinco get traded to the Detroit Lions. Amen.

(85 is retired for the Lions)
