Long time Phoenician!
OK, Steve. Kieff has become solid as a non-dominating Power Forward (as long as he is not playing Center). The same could be said for your guy Frye last season. Except for his hold-and-cold performances, which hasn't been the case too much with Kieff.Markieff has a PER of 18.6. He's averaging just one fewer assist than Goran. He's putting up 15 points and 6 rebounds along with leading the team in steals. He's played fairly solid defense when used down low. He hasn't been great but he has greatly outplayed Goran, PJ, Marcus, Tolliver etc. and if you include defense he's arguably been our second best player behind Bledsoe. Not that his defense is great but it's nowhere near as bad as that played by Green, Goran or IT.
Steve
So, 4 of our top 5 players are Guards. 'Doesn't change the imbalance very much. And the obviousity ('like that?) that Goran would decline when being demoted from his role from much of last season.
