Smushdown! Take it like a fan!
Harbaugh brang to the Niners what I expected from rookie HC Whisenhunt, how about you? The smart-tough- disciplined Cardinals football team advertised has passed more than any team in history, more 3 and outs, more pressure on the Oline- defense and special teams.
Kurt Warner welcomed the Blitz and outperformed opponents to a 9-7 record in 2008, reinsert edge and a run threat and rolled to the SB, abandoned the run and lost a close SB. passing like our hair was on fire, same with GB 09 playoff win, run the ball to a 3 score lead and than pass pas pass pass pass pass. We were demoralized in a Saints playoff loss the next week, folded with 6 minutes left in the 3rd 1/4. WE HAVE NOT RECOVERED AS OF TODAY! There are few Kurts available in history much less free agency.... get a gripp.
Sounds negative but the blueprint to win the NFCW are playing today, The Blueprint to win the NFC and the Super Bowl - It is not rocket science or brain surgery, I've been screaming it at the top of my lungs win lose or draw and taking flames for it. We had more talent and wasted our window of oppurtunity, we are rebuilding now, we are still more talented on my grades than the Niners, But we are coached stupider- if that is a word.
Graves needs be Cardinal strong and supervise this team- all of it- his weaknessess are glaring in the NFCW. The NFCW has been bad for a decade and all the teams have accumulated top more draft picks each year they accumulated losses, much of this talent is now veteran. the Cardinals are falling but these are 2 high draft picks in a row.
We need to to FEED the 22 year old BEAN, invest in our defense and follow the blueprint Whiz brang to AZ. Fitz will have plenty of spectacular and HOF credentials from a more balanced offense that doesn't stress the rst of the team every drive and turnover. The run game is simply safer most of the time. Seems like Beanies 4 career lost fumbles out weigh 23 int's this year? Thats is not football intelligence that is football stupidity.
We are getting better, But our staff shoots the Cardinals in the foot, Harbaugh has them Niners great at fewer plays and fundementals. He does not ask his players to do things they can not succeed at, He stabalizes what they do well. We ask our oline, QB, Defense to do things no other team would ask from these units, I expect more of the same.....
And that is on the GM><

One interesting development within the West: The 49ers have flourished in their resurgence because of their defense. Both the Cards and Seahawks battled back toward .500 after poor starts riding mostly their defense. And Fisher’s background – and history as coach of Tennessee – is with a defense-first philosophy.
In this era of offensive fireworks, the NFC West could be morphing into more of a physical, rough-and-tumble division.
“Our brethren in the NFC West have become stronger,” Cardinals general manager Rod Graves said. “But I feel we proved last season, especially over the last nine games that we can play with any team in the league. If we focus on our strengths and the things we do well, we will take care of business in the NFC West.”
