That dude's going to be unbelievable. Holy Cow what a talent.
The guy that dove for his legs from about three feet away and WHIFFED!?! That was awesome.

I wouldn't take him that high either, there's only 1 RB in college I've seen this year I'd take top 10 and that's Adrian Peterson of OU.

There are just too many examples of a guy like Domanick Davis going later and being good.

The big argument on the Bronco board right now is Griffin is great in space, or with a hole. A hole that ANderson might have gotten 10 yards on, Griffin may get 40 or more. But if there's no hole, Griffin will get 0 or negative yards, while Anderson might push the pile for 2. Portis got 1 on those carries, but got the 40+ like Griffin, big enough to get some push, quick and fast enough to score from anywhere.

Thats why it is so important that your back be able to do both: LT, Priest, Portis, Green these guys are elite backs becuase they have that ability to break one for 50+ or grind it out and get the 2-3 yards when needed.

Most of those guys are above 6' but 4 out of the top 5 are little guys. That helps a little bit, right?

NA NA NA NA :p

But his knock is talent. Kinda. There is no doubt he is good, but everything I have read ranks him as only the 5-6th best RB in 2005.

That could change coz its early and he may have a monster year, but he better have a Bo Jackson type year b/c it will take A Lot for an NFL team to want to make him their 'go-to' guy at that size.

Thems the realities.....

It does. I just saw a whole bunch of 6'+ guys and started banging away on the keyboard like Bob Ferguson at a press conference all hopped up on Jolt Cola and jelly donuts.
My bad.

Hell yeah. Take advantage of his size and get the best back in the country in the second round because he's... short!

I dont want this team GIVING AWAY- thats right I said it-Giving away a 2nd round pick on a guy who will get snapped it two after one Roy Williams hit!

Round 1 we take the Best CB in college: CB Justin Miller Clemson 5'11 200lbs 40 time 4.26 YES THATS RIGHT 4.26

Second round: David Green QB Georgia, (If we dont get a vetern via FA)

Actually my goal from here on out-regardless of what board I am on- is to somehow work in a 'pimp' for my favorite college players.

I might start out small but in the next few months I will have turned the whole board into a love fest for some obscure college stud!

Draft CB, he'll get you 4 yrds every carry, and never fumbles. Plus he's big and durable, Mack Brown is going to run him into the ground this year.

No 5'8 180 lb. RB can be a feature back. There are two similar runners right now in the NFL, Warrick Dunn and Quentin Griffin. After obtaining Dunn, the Falcons drafted a RB in the 1st round. After naming Griffin the starter, Shanahan drafted a RB in the 2nd round. Give up the pipe dream. If we draft Darren Sproles, be prepared for a solid 2005 helping of Marcel Shipp,.
