Game is at 7pm on FS Arizona.

I predict the Suns will start slow in the beginning of the game and make it a close game in the 2nd half.

My prediction

Suns 110
Grizzlies 105

Go Suns

All sorts of contact on that Dragic drive, but Ref swallows his whistle

Bench doing ok tonight, Dragic might be waking up. Still nothing much from E-doh turderder. Dudley and Frye are running good, on the same night no less..

2 observations thus far:

1. I'm glad Childress got his fro fixed it was looking pretty shabby as of late.

2. I like Suns dancers, they're pretty... :)

What would you guys do without me to add my expert basketball insight to the discussion?

Aweful shooting. Hopefully the Suns will find their legs in the second half.

It's a shame because we're actually rebounding pretty well so far, just cant hit a shot.

Rebounds pretty even, Turnovers pretty even, we just aren't going to win any games shooting 35%

Once again the Suns are the tonic for a bad, struggling team. :(

Suns down 53-41 after the 2nd quarter. Suns shooting 36 % with 2/10 3 pointers, Grizzlies 53% with 1/5 3 pointers.

JRich 4 pts on 1/9 shooting despite only playing 24 minutes last night.

This team desperately needs to find a way to be active on the defensive glass without Earl Barron. Barron has had a great impact on the Suns' ability to close out defensive possessions, but he is way way way too terrible on offense (maybe the third "way" is hyperbole, but I'm not sure) to get more than 5-7 minutes per game. Hopefully, Lopez can come back healthy and pick up where he was from last season.

A quarter into the season, is Nash breaking down again or what?

Gentry needs to make the team have remedial free throw practice the way they shoot free throws a lot of nights.

Dragic is too inconsistent/unreliable to give Nash adequate rest.

Dragic's minutes are too inconsistent/unreliable to develop into the player that can give Nash adequate rest. He hasn't looked as good this year but I wonder how much playing through the summer and nagging injuries have contributed to his performance. If that's the case, sign someone from the D league and give Dragic a couple weeks off to heal and recover.

Not that it mattered but Frye just spent about 6 seconds in the key there at the end of the period. 14 points to make up this Q.

Why does the scoreboard now say 23 points scored for the Suns in the 3rd quarter when at the end of the quarter it said 25?

Suns down 84-81 with 5:53 left in the 4th quarter after being down 14 points.

All those missed free throws for the Suns really loom large now as the Suns have hit only 14/23 free throws (61%) so far.
