"The way most people go about it, they use more brains picking a horse in the third at Belmont than they do picking a husband...It's your head you've got to use, not your heart."
From a 1953 film. Monroe, Grable and Bacall.
Not the best movie, so maybe not the best to quote from.
Hints:
In 1957, the film was adapted into a sitcom of the same but only ran for 2 seasons. Barbara Eden was in it.
In 2007, Nicole Kidman bought the rights and is set to produce and possibly star in a remake.

I thought I knew it from your cast hint but I don't know the quote and I don't know about any of the rest of these hints. But still, the only movie I remember with that trio of female leads is How to Marry a Millionaire.

Nothing is jumping out at me, I may have to start looking up movies at IMDB. But in the meantime, here's a fairly easy one:

"Though I've belted you and flayed you, by the living god that made you...you're a better man than I am (Name, Name)."

Here's a hard one:

To those who can hear me, I say — do not despair. The misery that is now upon us is but the passing of greed — the bitterness of men who fear the way of human progress. The hate of men will pass, and dictators die, and the power they took from the people will return to the people and so long as men die, liberty will never perish.

I knew the movie, but couldn't remember the title so I looked it up. We studied it in a film class I took.

That's a good one.

Grable with an R wasn't in Bus Stop.

Gable without an R and Monroe were in The Misfits. What we have here is a failure to communicate.
I was looking at the fact that he said Marilyn Monroe was in a movie called truckstop she was actually in a movie called Bus Stop.

I figured out the spoiler button. Yea me. :)

See! You've got skills! I'm always behind the times when it comes to doing stuff on this forum but the spoiler feature is a handy tool, especially if you're spending time in the TV and Movie sections.

Another famous movie I should have listed in the "haven't seen" thread.

I have no clue how to multi quote parts of a single post or parts of 2 different posts.

Clever, but no clue.

I'm willing to bet this a Chaplin film but I have no clue as to which.

the only downside is on my computer it always wants to put it on the top of the post.
when you are writing your post...on the top bar between the camera and the film strip is a "+" sign....click on that and "Spoiler" is one of your options... like so:

Thanks for that, and you're right it's easier than my way.

I was hoping someone else would respond as I have a tendency to complicate even the simplest tasks. But I'll give it a try anyway:

Highlight the text you want and that will bring up a bar just below that highlighted text offering you two choices (multi or quote) - choose multi if you have other quotes to add.

Repeat step above for all other quotes you want or use the +Multi button if you also want to include some complete posts.

When you're done selecting, scroll to the regular reply box and just to the left of the "Post Reply" button will now be the option to "Insert Quotes". Choosing the "Insert" button will bring up a box showing all text and quotes you have selected, offering you the option to move them around or remove one or more as desired.

Once you have it as you want it, select "Choose these messages" and then proceed as normal.

I mangled every part of that... I wondered about the R then decided I'd disremembered Clark's last name. Betty never crossed my mind. I thought of Bus Stop, too, remembering that MM had been in such a movie but didn't think Gable was in it and came up with Truck Stop... Well, I'm working with memories from over sixty years ago and they do get rather tangled.
I think Misfits must be the movie I was trying to come up with.
