Technically, no. The original Ben-Hur was from 1925, this one was in 1959. But you still got it right.

Yep, you are right. There was one before. I honestly don't think I have ever seen it.

Tons of good actors. A certain actress in this film would go on to be the target crush of myself and and many friends growing up.

Which one? The 1959 one? You are missing out, such a great movie. I've got this:

So you're probably not talking about the actress that was once married to Dudley Moore? She was a target crush for my generation and the one before too.

Actually there were two actresses in this movie I had a crush on but neither were ever married to Dudley Moore.

Well, maybe I'm wrong on the screenshot but I doubt it. Like I said, her fame and her moment in the sun as a sex kitten preceded your generation. She was 40 or so when this movie was made and was already divorced from Dudley. She was certainly my "crush" when I hit that certain age, probably from Dobie Gillis reruns.

As I stated, neither actress I was referring to was ever married to Dudley.

I don't really know much about him, just Tuesday.

My biggest crush growing up from any TV show or movie? This lady. It was borderline obsession. LOL.

Since Steve isn't actually saying what the movie is, I'll say it: Once Upon a Time in America.

There was another reason? My crushes were all of a similar type to Linda Evans - Hayley Mills, Tuesday Weld, Marta Kristen, Connie Kreski (playmate of the year,1970-ish). But in real life, my first girlfriend had red hair as did my 2nd and 3rd girlfriends. I married a beautiful young woman with strawberry blonde hair although in truth, it was awfully close to the red-line. And if we had actually dated, she'd have been my 4th girlfriend but as it was, we went straight from introductions to wedding bells.

Correct. One of my all time favorite movies. Loved Elizabeth McGovern and Jennifer Connelly. I gave a hint with my "target" comment on the picture which was a reference to Career Opportunities.
