I'm always participating, you guys just like some obscure movies. :)

Which is cool, I've seen a lot of stuff posted that I had never heard of.

I only picture Dick Van Dyke as Bob Cratchit or as Icabod Crane.

Swill?? Can't be cream of wheat, I loved it.

Well, the screenshot doesn't look like Long John Silver(or Long John Baldry) and I was figuring it would be a child if it were Oliver Twist, so I dunno.

I'll have to Google it.

Getting very warm.

"Please sir, I want some more". Often quoted also as "Please Sir, May I have some more"?

There have been a few but honestly I don't think I've used an obscure movie in the screenshot thread? I know I used something from Serial which probably qualifies as obscure here but I think that was a quote. And, to me, a late 70's/early 80's major Hollywood movie with Sally Kellerman, Tuesday Weld, Martin Mull, Bill Macy (not William H), Peter Bonerz, Nita Talbot, Tom Smothers, Christopher Lee, Barbara Rhoades, Peter Horton and others doesn't really seem obscure. Forgotten, perhaps, but not obscure.

I don't know about the rest of you but for the most part, I've chosen movies that I really enjoyed with the hopes that someone that shares my interests might find a movie worth trying. And I consider each movie that other's select in the same light, in hopes of finding a gem that I either don't know or didn't give a chance.

Oliver Twist?

MYB guessed that earlier, it's awfully close but they made several versions of that book and technically the movie has yet to be named. But since we're all around it, the one we're looking for is the musical, Oliver, from 1968.

So I now officially (by the power invested in me by my typewriter and three of my cats) do hereby proclaim it to be a two way tie between you and MrYeahbut and whichever of you responds with the next screenshot, breaks the tie.

That looks like Car Wash.

I cannot believe Pryor and Carlin are dead. :-(

Um so should I even ask what is happening in this scene? Because it looks like the bottom is having second thoughts, but the top is determined...

Yuma's town motto should be;

Yeah, it's awful but at least it's not Tucson...
