Yeah, it is. I think that it was basically answered by AZ Native a few posts ago but I'm waiting to hear if it was a real answer or more of a tease, as some of us so occasionally do in this thread.

Yuma is up next. I was gone unexpectedly most of the day and was going to say I could not remember the name of the movie. Funny, I remembered the name of the town and not the movie. :doofus:

P.S. BIM corrects everything!

A nickel says it's a Clive Barker, John Carpenter or Wes Craven film. I liked Scream and The Thing but I'm not usually a fan of horror movies so I'm without a guess. If pushed, I'd go for Hellraiser but only because I know so little about it and have never seen the above scene.

Anyway, it might be time for a hint.

In this movie, there is a physics explanation for how evil controls people. In the movie it is explained how on the subatomic level some particles switch back and forth from matter to energy, and back. It is at this level that evil corrupts the energy and can control the matter of the whole. Sent a shiver up my spine! So here's another still from the same movie, of an AZ resident:

BIM you are correct! You are now on the clock! :)

First, I have to share.

My friends and I watched this movie in a theater with one of the most hilarious audiences ever. Whenever Jameson Parker was on the screen people were literally shouting out "It's Rick !!" or "No, it's AJ !!" arguing over which brother from the Simon and Simon TV show was in the film. Also - the opening credits seemed to last for the first quarter of the movie. Not kidding. It would just set everyone off laughing each time more credits popped on the screen. Great snarky crowd for a movie that needed it. LOL

Powell Peralta Snake and Skull. Mike McGill was a stunt double for Slater in the film. ;)

 Very good. It was one of hundreds I went through at the time. Skating in the movie was great. The movie was the wooorrrstt!

This movie comes from the same era as Gleaming above. It also featured fads of the time that eventually became mainstream. The actress pictured is the daughter of a comedian of "high" recognition.

I recognized the girl right away but I have no idea what the movie is, it's clearly not in my library. And it's no Commando, that's for sure.

This movie also featured not one, but two highly regarded soundtracks produced by Harry Belafonte. A third volume was planned, but never released.
