Hakeem Butler to IR?

Revenge of the Birds is reporting this possibility with an injured hand. Don't know if it's true, but if so it would save a spot on the "53". We could go with six instead of seven WR's, and still have Butler to come off IR whenever he's available to contribute. For me, I fully expected him to make the final cut and then be inactive until late in the season. JMO.

Best thing that could've happened with him actually... Minor injury. He wasn't gonna make the final 53 and if he did, he'd be taking up a valuable slot for someone else who could've been a bigger contributor. And there was no way they were gonna put him on the Practice Squad and risk having some other team grab him. So, you stash him away on IR and restart his clock next season...
