To me.... It was a weird situation... At the time I remember not being depressed or sad, but happy the Cards had come back, taken the lead, and really made it a game.... I was proud of the Cards, and proud of their remarkable run...

Yet as time has worn on, it has hurt SOOO MUCH MORE.... I can't bring myself to watch the game, I get sick every time I think of the two plays... I don't know that I will be able to watch the game ever, to be honest, or at least until the next time it goes the other way....

Anyone else feel like this?

That is almost exactly how I feel. Maybe it doesn't hurt as much now, but kinda sorta it does.

Goodness... My team WON... and I HAVE A HARD TIME watching that game.

When the Cards start thier comeback... everytime I get that sinking feeling... even though I know how it turns out.

It may have been one of the best SB games played over the last few years. But for the two fanbases in it... It just hurts too much to watch it.

And I understand how you all feel, SB XXX STILL hurts for me to watch. I always end up turning it off.

Good luck this season.

I didn't think I'd ever watch the replay after it happened, but last week the NFL Network showed it and I made myself sit down and watch. Even then, I had to change the channel after Fitz breaks down the middle for the game leading TD. It's the happiest and most depressing moment of my life, words can't even describe it. If I could pick any moment in my life at THAT particular moment and bottle it, Fitz scoring that TD would have to be #1 on the list when it comes to sheer joy.

I think I know what you mean. Re-watching the Cards-Eagles Championship game, when the Eagles take the lead with 19 unanswered points, I always find myself wondering how bad it would have hurt to lose that one. Even knowing that we did win, it bothers me to think how bad it would have been to lose that way,

The Atlanta game could have easily gone the other way as well

I know what you mean.

There are a lot of parallels to the way the NFC Championship game played out and the way the Superbowl played out.

Watched ATL. Watching CAR now. Next up is PHI and then the Super Bowl for the first time (after being there live).

Honestly, I had a hard time reading this whole thread... But other fans have been through this, and more than once. The Broncos lost four before they won back-to-back, and the Bills and Vikings? They've just lost four.

As a Cards fan it's tough because we've learned not to count on anything. But I will say, SB loss aside, this is the most exciting offseaon I've had. Confidence in Whiz, drafting what will hopefully be a great RB, signing AW. It's pretty cool to have a promising team.

No, I have not watched it yet. I was there and it will not stop running through my head. No need to watch it, it will not stop running in my head. Peace

Just cant watch it.

i have the whole playoff run copied to DVD and that one might get a look in a few years. I dont know why i wont watch it as the Harrison play and the final TD have been show so many times...maybe its just seeing it all pan out the way it did i cant handle.

I have watch the rest of the playoff games a few times, and the NFC champ game about 6 :)

Same here. Its 2 sided for me...part of me wished we had gotten blown out, so I don't feel like we missed our golden opportunity....on the other hand, im glad we made it so close.....to show "we belonged"!

When the Cards win their first ring, then I think I can make peace with the Super Bowl. I just hope the wait for the second SB isn't as long as the wait for the first.

I haven't watched it yet. I don't think I will. I couldn't even get through the SB edition of Livewire.

I wachted again a while back. Even though I knew what was going to happen it still gave me thrill to relive the moment. Still hard to believe we almost won the Super Bowl.
