With the Suns luck, ATL will probably go on to win the championship. Leaving PHX with the last pick.

The Hawks coach doesn't even bother playing the bench, i would assume with names like "Zaza Pachulia", I don't blame him

This is great, I've been getting so much crap about the suns at school. But this should keep them quiet for a while.

What really irks me is that Boston is a much better team than SA, and Phoenix is a much better team than Atlanta, and yet the Hawks are even with the Celtics while the Suns are on the verge of elimination.

That really ticks me off. It shows shows the lack of hunger inside the players in purple and orange.

Bravo Atlanta, and bravo Joe Johnson.

Perkins of the Celtics better be suspended for stepping on the court.

Wow. Who would have thought?

In all fairness, if it wasn't for the unlikely ending in game one, the Suns would be tied at 2 as well.

Man this is unbelievable. Mad props to the hawks for pulling this feat off!

Damn them for botching our pick, but mad props for somehow finding a way to kick the celtics in the nuts. Lakers fans must be savoring every minute of this like a big juicy steak.

I gotta say, JJ's really got heart. Something the Suns could really use...

He doesn't have any more heart than any other player, he's just good. When JJ hurt his eye socket during the playoffs with Phoenix he was much more interested in himself than the team. I'm not saying he should risk further injury, but when you compare him to Raja Bell who was playing with a badly torn calf to give it all for the team, Joe Johnson falls well short in the heart department.

I'll be interested to find out if the league suspends the Celtic and Hawk players that stepped on the court during the altercation. According to Stern's ruling against the Suns last year, he *must* suspend them since he said he must follow "the letter of the law." In this case, there was perhaps more of an altercation (the Bell/Manu [was it Manu?] scuffle was the altercation not the Horry foul). In the Suns game, Stat went onto the court farther, but Stern had made a point that the distance was irrelevant.

That said, the players in no way _deserve_ to be suspended. However, if Stern does not suspend them, he is a massive hypocrite and last year was a flagrant abuse of power enveloped in falsities.

huh? He broke his face, couldn't see out of an eye and still only missed 6 games. Him coming back at all showed how much heart he had, not to mention the fact that it's a lot easier to play on a bum calf the season after you've just landed a huge contract as opposed to JJ who hadn't gotten jack yet.

The Hawks have an unbelievable collection of super athlete and the Celtics do not match up well against JJ. In any case, the Celtics blew some bunny shots and shot very badly from the line (only 8 of 15). Bad shooting in the fourth quarter led to the Celtics scoring only 17 points while giving up 32.

The Hawks were not that great on defense this season, with opponents shooting 46.3%, but managed to hold the Celtics to 41.1% shooting despite 10-17 for three.

Celtics in six.

You can bet they are pretty damn pissed. Atlanta can't do this in Boston and the Celts will probably win game 5 by about 30 points. Atlanta will try hard back at home, but Boston will be too much and pull away in the second half of game 6.

it would just be ridiculous to see 66 and 67 win teams bow out in the first round in back to back years.
