Good 1st quarter. It helps that Whiteside is not playing Center. But, still, good to see the Suns being aggressive.

So does that count as a block for Bam AND a FG for Ayton? Funny, I was literally wondering about that the other day and now it actually happens in-game.

Crawford and Holmes putting on a pick and roll clinic.

I feel bad for being so against the Crawford signing. He's been all effort since he's been here and a true professional. If only our 15 million dollar man played like he does. I'm glad that a guard has decided to work with Holmes because that could only benefit the both of them. Holmes has been great this year, all things considered, and someone running a two man game with him should look good if they can keep up. I know Canaan talked like he would be doing that since they played together in Philly but that didn't happen.

I'm thinking Daniels is hungry for a new contract or the Suns have misused his talent.

Ayton gets posterized. But then, by some miracle, he actually got pissed. He demanded the ball low post and took it to the hoop with a little spin move and made it. He needs a fire lit under him somehow.

Misused is my guess. I'm sure a contract is part of it though, it always is. Kokoskov seemed to disregard all of the Suns players who were here last year and what they accomplished before he came aboard. Warren moved to the bench, Bender and Daniels removed from the rotation. It's not like they lost those roles in preseason either, they just weren't given the opportunity to continue from where they left off last year, at least in the eyes of fans.

Igor is certainly giving every player an opportunity to spark the team now. Daniels is taking advantage.

I'm not sure but since Ayton (or anyone else) didn't touch it again after Bam's contact I'm pretty sure there's no block involved, just a made hoop for Deandre.

Ayton starts the second half well with a couple of baskets.

As Eddie pointed out and it shows, Dragic is not driving with abandon to the rim yet he gets the job done easily.

This is Dragic's first game back from injury. I don't watch the Heat enough to know if this is who he is now or if he's playing a little more under control because of his age and physical limitations. From what I've seen in the past couple of years when I saw the Heat though he looked close to the same player he was here.
