Heat @ Suns game thread 11-8-17

Tonight the Heat visit the Suns with the start time listed at 7 p.m. Arizona time.

I'm expecting a bounce back effect from the Suns after the Bledsoe trade with the Suns losing their last three games. However, it could also mean other Suns players are worried about the other shoe falling. We shall see.

Update: The Suns have lost three straight and begin a stretch with three home games in four nights. The Heat, in the midst of a six-game road trip, are 4-6 and coming off an 18-point loss to the Golden State Warriors on Monday. Former Suns guard Goran Dragic leads Miami in scoring with 19.3 points per game, but center Hassan Whiteside is the real matchup issue for Phoenix; he’s averaging 15.2 points and 12.4 rebounds per game. Phoenix needs to find some scoring to complement Devin Booker and T.J. Warren. Power forwards Marquese Chriss and Dragan Bender and point guards Mike James and Tyler Ulis are all shooting less than 40 percent from the field.

So. Our GM is trying to work deals by all accounts.
DJJr gets assigned to D-league and then within 24 hours gets called back.
Tyson Chandler sitting out because of a "sore back."

I wouldn't be surprised to see McDonough pull a rabbit out of the hat with some more draft picks.

He is eventually going to make another team a trade offer they can't refuse.

He already did that with Milwaukee. Listen. I am OK with the trade. But I also would have been content to let Bledsoe stew.

Scott Bordow still has it up on his twitter account. I would think he, of all people, would know.

Bledsoe is not going to get the max, neither is IT. The money is running out for middling players.

IMO, Rich Paul is going to have to adapt. All the players are not Lebron. Teams will have to smarten up.

This might bid well for the Suns when the money runs out. Teams that have not spent wisely or go into rebuild mode may eventually have to part with some key players.

Right now. I have no clue what is going on with Greg Monroe. I am really hoping something happens soon that makes me sit up and say

"So, aha, THATS what you were up to with all this."

It really bugs me that people are calling for McD's head. This team is in such better shape than it was with Blanks and Babby. McD has not been perfect, no gm is. But he has done a lot of things well, and it stands to reason that as he gains experience he will get better at it.
