I caught about half of it.

I plan to watch to whole thing tomorrow.

I was alittle disappointed but maybe it just starts a little slow. None of the characters were very interesting or engaging except for the japanese guy that can teleport.

Effects were basically cheap or non-existant.

yeah, gotta agree with most of the above - pretty weak pilot.

It's really amazing just how many pilots are written every year (AT LEAST 200 HUNDRED by ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, CW), then thinking about how many of those are actually produced and shot (at most 40-50) and then to think about how many ACTUALLY make the cut to make it to TV (15-20 at most) and then MOST of those suck. It's so hard to get anything made that's actually decent so I'll give kudos to those involved because just to get it aired is something it of itself.

If TV executives were smart they would put every pilot made on bittorrent and get feedback from the public. I know a large number of pilots were leaked but I think that mostly resulted from distribution to critics.

Another thing I noticed, is that they were trying really hard to be like Lost, with all the connections, except it was very noticeable that the connections weren't as tight and well-done as Lost. But they get an A for effort. Hope they streamline it a bit. There's some potential here.

I noticed that Lost wannabe thing as well - and how obvious they made it. Predicted that the cheerleader's dad would be the man in the cab BEFORE he showed up at home.

Started really slow. Has potential though, so I will watch it again. Nice twist with the brothers.

actually, i think they're doing that already, sort of. both this show and studio 60's pilots were available through netflix for at least a month before they came out.

That's a step in the right direction but those shows were already picked up well before they were on Netflix.

that's true, i didn't think of that part. what would be the downside to this idea? a network would have to produce a few dvd's of a pilot, which probably doesn't cost much if you're just putting one or two episodes on a dvd (studio 60 and heroes came together). you give them to netflix or blockbuster for free, they tell you how many people picked it up and reviewed it positively, then you get an idea of the show's potential.

I liked it...I thought early on the acting was forced and atrocious with the professor and such. Seemed like a Charlie Chan film or something...just really bugged me.

However, I liked it more as it progressed along and by the end I was very into the show. Suprised me when
the dude's brother flew up to get him...I did NOT see that coming and it was telegraphed I think
.

The previews looked fanfreakingtastic, and the show looks like something I could be interested in, Bob. Sure, it's kind of like Lost-Lite, but it isn't Pro-Wings to Lost's Nike. It's more like a pair of Adidas.

I liked it and will keep DVRing.

SPOILER-KIND OF - MORE LIKE A LOOK INTO THE FUTURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

The brother's going to be a bad guy - there's a reason he's in politics and set up as addicted to power - super human power plus addiction to power = evil genius/bad guy in every comic book story.

That's my call.

END OF SPOILER KIND OF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Liking this show... Acting - So so... Writing - Just okay... Premise - Awesome...

I think they are kind of taking a long time on laying out the characters, especially since it appears more are going to be added weekly for a while but overall I will add this one to my series recordings. It is borderline short run if they don't pick it up a little more, IMO.

The Sci-Fi channel is re-running episodes on Fridays at 7 p.m. (my time, anyway). My sis and I missed the first 15 minutes of the show during it's original air date and were lost, but caught the rerun on Sci-Fi tonight. Good stuff.

I didn't love it. I didn't hate it either... at least once it got going a little. If not for the Japanese guy I'm not sure I would watch it again. He was the best part of the show IMO.

Oh who am I kidding. I watch almost anything that's decent because I have so much time to kill in the mornings while I'm getting up. Besides, my attendant liked it.

solid 2nd episode - still going a little too much for the coincidence/connection thing ala LOST, but getting more interesting.

the Asian guy is the best by far.

Has anyone figured out all the powers? I can't figure it out quite a few. Also I'm starting to wonder if there are both good powers and bad. I think thats the set up.

Really curious about the girl who may have an alter-ego...what is going on there? Did she bury those bodies before?

LOVED the twist with Hiro going into the future...I mean, I should have guessed it because the clock went forward on the subway before.

I think...I'm guessing...that this bad guy they are talking about...Salar something? Is going to turn out to be the dad of the cheerleader.

Pretty cool so far...November 8th is the big day...what happens then?

I love his character. Lots of fun to watch.

Could be. That twist with him talking to his daughter surprised me. I'd say it's him or the politician. Of course, I might just be thinking that because the writers want me to think that (kinda like with Lost).
