#2. The black guy in the bar was Ali Landry's (the stripper) husband. He was talked about too much in the show not to appear shortly. He works for the agency same as Claire's dad like his flunky (as seen in the preview of the upcoming episode)

#3. The neighbor of Mohinder is in fact a spy working for the agency. She is the reason that Sylar's apartment was cleared out after Mohinder went there.

I agree with both of these.

Also - does the little girl who survived Sylar have a power? Assuming so, since he is trying to kidnap her.

She has to. None of her parents were eaten. It just looked like they were tortured to death, probably while he was trying to learn where they hid her.

Also it wouldn't suprise me if Ali Landry's son eventually has powers...especially if it turns out that Ali's husband does.

Okay so here are some of my guesses. I suppose I should revisit this later.

#1. Peter (the younger brother) does NOT have the power to fly. He can mimic the powers of those he is in close contact with, thus why he could fly once he touched his brother who can fly. He also had a brief glimpse of the future after touching the artist.

#2. The black guy in the bar was Ali Landry's (the stripper) husband. He was talked about too much in the show not to appear shortly. He works for the agency same as Claire's dad like his flunky (as seen in the preview of the upcoming episode)

#4 Sylar is also a mimic like Peter, but he gets his powers by eating the brains of those who already have them. A sort of Power Ghoul.

good theories. the neighbor better end up being a bad guy, that's the only way i can take her absolute annoying-ness.

i think sylar might be the anti-mohinder's dad. his map was much bigger and had different people on it. i think he might be seeking out villains to counter the heroes on the other map.

You're awesome. I agree with all of your theories, too (just watched the episode--dvr). Mohinder's neighbor is definitely a bad guy--she had a "hand caught in the cookie jar" expression on her face when he looked at her when they found the apt. emptied.

I love DVR; I love this show!

My thoughts exactly, which is why you saw the politician brother (Nathan) on there....he's definitely a bad dude.

He does. I believe that Ali Landry's husband used his powers to escape prison. Remember, he can't be found and no one knows why. Sounds like a stealth type power to me. It would coincide with the inability of the police officer to read his thoughts.

That and on the websites original blog, it mentioned a convict with the power to walk thru walls.

Um, does anyone think that cliffhanger means that this could be one of the best shows EVER? :D

Lost and Carnivale are really the only shows that left me speechless. Add Heroes to the list.

Agreed. Except I'd throw Deadwood into that ring as well.

The preview for next week's ep left me wanting more and it'll be a week before I can get my fix.

Who'll the cheerleader be running from? Her dad?

Deadwood is my favorite show ever, but it never made me speechless.

Yep, this show RULES. No one else in my family (brothers, parents, etc) watches it--and I HAVE to get 'em hooked...I need more people to talk to about it.

Anybody laugh at the Rain Man reference in the show?

And what's up with Hiro...

It's a few weeks to the big explosion in NYC but his hair gets cut, his accent fades, and he speaks perfect engrish

I know he can bend the time/space continuum but in the short of time was that the transformation made?

How many more episodes until his friend gets killed? I'll say before sweeps.

Sadly I missed this because I was at the Cardinals game and I have no TiVo. Can anyone recap what happened?

I'll re-watch, take notes & post 'em. But, you were right--the younger brother told Mohinder that he didn't think he himself has any individual special powers, but he could use the powers of those around him.

I think NBC has a 2 minute replay of the episode and it does replay Friday night on Sci-Fi.

But basically,
The cop woke up on a table with the cheerleader's dad talking to him wanting to test his body. The cop couldn't read his mind because of the black guy being in the room and they had the black guy "clear" his mind.

Ali Larter was told by the people she owes money to get with the politician guy. And she was about to but changed her mind but her evil self went back and slept with him.

Japanse guys used Hiro's powers to clean house in Vegas.

Heroine guy's eyes go white when he gets high to paint the future.

Peter (the politician's brother) met up with the Indian guy after the Indian guy tried to confront the politican. Peter tried to tell him his powers are that he can have anybody elses powers when near them. They tried to go see the artist to prove it but the artist was in his trance painting the cheerleader girl running from a shadow.

Cheerleader girl is shown waking on the slab and running home. She finds out the guy has raped a girl before and she takes out her revenge on him by getting in his car and driving it into a wall.

Ali Larter and the politician are shown in bed sleeping when the cheerleader's dad and the black guy are shown standing over them and the dad tells the guy to grab one of them.

Show ends with Peter and the Indian guy on a subway when everything except Peter freezes in time. Hiro comes in with a sword, haircut, chin hair, and in perfect English warns him about the future.

Preview shows the politician guy getting his Superman on to escape from the dad and the black guy.

And people figuring out they need to help the cheerleader.

I got the impression that Hiro was coming back from WAY in the future--after he's perfected his talents. (and his English)

I laughed my butt off at the Rain Man reference; I had to explain to my kids what was so funny.

You can watch the entire episode on NBC.com--I just did. Its broken down in to 6 parts with a short commercial before each part loads.

Great show. Keeps getting better each week.

Love the surprise endings - especially this last one. I figured it would be Sylar coming for Peter. I actually let out a '*$#ing cool!' exclaimation when future-Hiro showed up. He is definately the best character so far (among many good ones).

If they do it right, they can have a lot of cool twists with Hiro's time travel abilities. Can't overdo it (same with the cheerleader's healing ability), though.
