Does anyone know where I can find a free download of the first two hour episode of this season. Its the only one not on my TIVO and I cant start watching the others until I find that first two hour episode. I tried the NBC web site but they dont go back that far unless I am missing something.

Thanks in advance.

Good episode. The show seems that it might just be back on track.

Other than the fact that the writers suddenly forget Peter absorbs powers by being in the vicinity (so now he has to touch them?) and also he can fly, so why was he so terrified of being sucked out of the plane?

I like the storyline though, should be interesting.

That's what I was wondering. But maybe he can't fly now. Remember the exchange between him and Nathan? Nathan asked him what he could do those days. Peter asked "what's the last thing you saw me do?" And Nathan said fly.

I thought that exchange meant something more than it appeared.

The sad thing is, I'm not even sure the writers knew what it meant :)

I don't think he'd lose his power to fly without them telling us, so I think the only reason they did that was because Nathan needed to know how to come at Peter to arrest him.

That sums up this entire show for me. I no longer trust the writers have a clue what direction they're headed. The entire drama (writing, acting) is on par with a daytime soap. It doesn't surprise me that people are sucked in because of it, but it does surprise me that so many people are sucked in.

Good to hear the newer episodes are at least watchable. I need to catch up.

Was a huge fan of the show in Season 1. Disappointed but still holding out hope it would improve during Season 2, which was pretty mediocre with a few bright flashes. Totally gave up two episodes into Season 3. It was barely watchable. Terrible writing and plot development.

From the sound of it, they need to figure it out quick in this new 'mini-season', or the show won't be back next year. Would be a shame, as it had/has lots of potential at a conceptual level.

Maybe Heroes will be one of those shows that actually should have been canceled after 1 season. Then it would live on forever in TV lore as a show canceled to early (like Firefly), due to incompetent TV executives. :)

There was one defining moment of this last episode that made it as good as it was.

There was only one plot.

The writers need to stick with this methodology.

I really enjoyed Sylar killing all the government agents.

Up to that point they have been kidnapping and pretty much manhandling all of the characters with relative ease.

The whole plane crashing scene was excellent. And the previews for what's to come show promise that show is getting better.

I have two theories for why that happened. Either, he did not want to leave the plane and risk everyone else getting killed in the crash or he can now only absorb one ability at a time now and once he got the freezing things ability he needed hell even staying in the plane.

Bingo. Explained that tonight. For some reason Peter can now only absorb one ability at a time. Once he absorbs the new one, the old one leaves him. It's going to be interesting to see how they handle Peter though. Peter is no match for Sylar anymore with only one ability.

Also, they are bringing in the X-Men storyline of the government being against people with abilities and trying to round them up. Feels familiar.

Does anybody know which episode is the first of Tim Kring this season? There were already episodes in the can prior to his taken back the show but I am just wondering what episodes he is overseeing this season.

I don't know, but I can only hope it wasn't this last one. Again, another awful episode. Claire free! Wait, Claire is captured. Uh, Claire is free! Again! Oh wait, no, she's captured. Again. Free again! No, captured again.

And I know that Daphne wasn't the most likable character on the show, but she was shot multiple times and then forgotten about (except for one line from Parkman, who strangely enough didn't seem too distraught). I don't know why I keep giving this show a chance.

I think that the show got away from the ensemble type story lines and started concentrating on the Claire's character. Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia get the the most press outside of the show. I guess they thought changing the center of the show was a good thing???

Also, Daphne was growing on me a bit but some of the comments I read is that they wanted to go back to focusing on the core characters like before. It didn't surprise me they killed her but I agree that Parkman didn't seem distraught. There was the one little comment about "Payback" but this was suppose to be the love of his life.

I do like some of what they are doing but it's all disjointed. Tim cannot come back soon enough.

I can't stand Claire's character.

And, yeah, no tears for Daphne? That was weird.

I did like the Sylar-kid dynamic. I am interested in seeing how that will develop.

Well I'm still watching this. Not as good as Season 1 for sure but still fun to watch.

It was interesting seeing the story of how the Company started. Angela's sister, Alice, has a bad ass power.

The premise that she lived in a fallout shelter all alone for 50 years is idiotic.

Why? Angela told her to stay there and she would be safe. That's what she did and she stayed safe.. She explains how she gets food and water.

The last 3 episodes have been outstanding. You can tell that someone else is writing them. Finally got some insight into the formation of the company and what motivated them.

And prior to the last 3 episodes I was about to give up on the show. A nice run does not a season make, but we will see where it goes now.

If someone could fly why is it unreasonable that they could stay alive in a shelter for 50 years. Angela lied to her sister when she told her she was going to be safe and left her there to die horrible. No wonder she feels so much guilt. Good episode I like how they kept going back into the past to explain things.

In Angela's defense, I don't think that Angela thought that she was leaving her to die. The massacre seemed to be unpremeditated.

Wouldn't her dreams have shown her what would happen though? She already knew that everyone was going to die, she told Suresh.

Who were the kids? Linderman is recognizable, but I didn't catch the name of the kid with glasses, or the black kid that had the same ability as the Parkmans.

What I find kindof refreshing is Sylar having the shape shifting ability now and him using it to take Nathan's form to act in the government. Didn't all this happen in the future episode of season 1?
