Nothing new here. We trade or lose a RB and they tear it up for someone else. He had 58 yard run....he has 70 yards on 6 carries and a TD. Tonight.

Heard a report earlier this week that Hightower and Whiz had a "chat" earlier this year and Whiz realized he and Timmy were not on the same page...
Water under the bridge now. Go RW! Go Beanie! Go LSH!!!

Timmy is a good RB.

He just needs to hold on to the damn ball.

Yup. He busted a couple of 70 yard runs for us when he was here. Once he starts to fumble, the Skins fan will start agonizing like we did. Like the guy and wish him well, but possessions > yardage.

Timmy on 6-10 carries has never been the problem. He's just absolutely terrible at grinding out consistent yardage.

Just about any RB behind the Cards OL has had that problem. But then again I'm pretty sure Timmy never averaged more than 8 to 9 carries a game so really how do we know?

I wonder if Washington is going to get blown out tonight. :D

Tim had a 70yd TD run vs New Orleans in the playoffs and we lost 45-14 and then again last season he goes 80 against Atlanta and we lost 41-7.

The Cards are a strange franchise.

carries

A old Cards back got carries? Wasn't in and out actually mixed the run and the pass,

The Bean would be great in that environment too!

Ok stay positive, whiz may have the will to run, with his old PGC at OC, It could happen.

So 2.4 yards a rush is good? Take away that 58 yard rush and that is what he is averaging.

Well that's what he did in Arizona.

But I did a little research after seeing how our run game was averaging 4.5 ypc by gaining 16 yards on one carry for a first down and then 0,1,1 punt and it looks like most teams have the same type results. They just don't give up on the run like the Cards do.

lol...take away the other 5 carries he avgs 58 yards a carry. You can't take away a run and then critique his game. the 58 yard run counts.

Well you can't really say he is averaging over 10 yards a carry because he obviously isn't. People break big runs but the good backs are the ones who can consistently gain yards. I'd rather have a back get 4 yards a carry than a guy who gets 2 and once in a while breaks a big run.

That is not how ANY RB is judged.. You cant just take away the big runs. Those are what equate the average.

That is the most ridiculous argument ever.

Any average RB looks great in Mike Shanahan's offense.

THT has by far outplayed his draft position. If he didn't have fumbling issues I highly doubt he is traded. I hope he runs all over the NFC East teams and our hate division rivals.

He had a Q like mentality in that he ran like his hair was on fire. Dang the torpedoes and full speed ahead. Tough as nails and gave it his all every play.

It's a shame he had the fumbling issues with us.
