Big win by Detriot today - let's hope GS continues it's hot streak and plugs the Spurs for us. Man - we really blew a golden opportunity to put some real distance between those two teams the last two games.

Im sure Miami and Spurs fans have been saying the same things recently. I really don't see the Spurs catching us unless they get Duncan back early and healthy. The West is just brutal right now.

I think SA catching us is heavily dependent on their game against the Warriors tonight. They haven't been very good on the road, but with road games against Utah(I'll count that as win), Memphis(a loss) and the Wolves(probably a loss but by then the Wolves will have NOTHING to play for), that will eave them with two more losses. Meanwhile, I can see us going 3-3 to finish out the season(no worse). The Laker game scares me and if we lsoe that one with three straight losses, it won't be looking good. Thankfully, we get the Clips, NO and the Kings, which should ALL be wins with tough games against Denver and Sacto after(both games in which Denver and Sacto will be battling to for seeding). Our road is relatively tough considering how lackluster we are at home. We'll see - I hope we can pull it off - I REALLY don't want to see the Nuggets until the Conference Finals if we have to play them.

Sounds like a good overview. I think we will have a much better picture after tommorrow's game. And I hate to idea of us knocking the Lakers out of the playoffs with Kobe getting a chance to play spoiler against us.

me too. The Laker game will be big because if we win - we should string together a four game winning streak with the next three home games and hoepfully put Homecourt away. I just know, since I'm goign to the game and having been giing my Laker fan friends so much crap - that there is just now ay that we sweep them this year and they come close to spoiling something for us. Seriously though - the losing streak HAS to end tomorrow - totally healthy and coming down the stretch, there's no excuse for a three-game losing streak if you fashion yourself a contender.

If anything, this is good in that it is forcing SA players to play more minutes!
