The Suns are having an aweful season. Their current winning percentage is the 4th lowest in franchise history. A lot of people here were hoping for this kind of season in order to secure a high draft pick. The question is, are they watching?

Personally, even though I was never in favor of a bottoming-out strategy, I still try to catch every game. Of the 33 played so far, I missed two. There hasn't been a lot to cheer for or to be entertained by. The Suns don't really have any young players to watch develop either. Still, I like to know where the team stands, who might be gaining trade value, who might be worth keeping long term, who might warrant more minutes, etc.

I wouldn't call it an aweful season. No one is in awe of it.

Now, an awful season. That hits the nail on the head. :)
Damn, I should have trusted the spell-checker :)

I've watched every game from beginning to end.

Maybe I'm a masochist.

I was watching only a few games due to absolutely no chance to watch it every night (******* Europe). But if I would have a chance - why not? Even if it is not the most enjoyable team to watch it`s still fun to watch basketball. Even the worse basketball game is better than mediocre rugby / football game - fact, proven by history ;-)

Voted None. Laterally watched 5 mins of one game. Only one or two on national TV anyways. I don't see the Suns being good anytime soon, and I don't have faith in management to make and significant changes to turn it around. We are becoming the old clippers.

I still come here almost out of habit more than anything. I love basketball, won't "change teams" but it's really hard to get excited about anything suns related right now. I used to get into the games, really care about the results etc. Now, there's not a ton of interest to sit down and try and watch a 2.5 hour game a few times a week.

Pretty much every game. Though, over the past 5-6 games my interested has really dropped and I've been forcing myself to watch. Eventually I'll probably just stop.

All but two games. I suppose I am a glutton for punishment, but I can't just not watch. In all fairness, I am doing more recording and then watching after I finish watching something that had higher priority, so that's a change- Suns games used to be the number one priority. I still watch them all though.

Every minute, every game. I watched a couple of them after the fact (up against Cards games etc.) but we're living in the DVR age so we might as well take advantage of it.

this is where I'm at pretty much word for word.

wake me when Sarver sells the team. No reason to watch until that point as far as I'm concerned.

I think you're going to get plenty of sleep. Sarver is probably going to go down with the ship - someone should tell him the foam finger is not a life saving device. I really wouldn't be shocked to see our franchise go the league-owned route in a few more years.

I've watched most of the Suns games but a lot of them have been partial games. There is only so much pain a person can take. :)

I wonder if some of the blame should be put on Jerry. Was he in a "must sell fast" mode when he sold the team? I wonder if there were any other potential buyers?

I know it's not fair to look back in hindsight but selling to Sarver has, so far, been a mistake IMO.

Interest is definitely at an all time low for me. I remember being fidgety at my own wedding because it was at the same time as a Suns playoff game ('05 game 1 against the spurs) and I couldn't get updates on the score.

Now the only reason I know games are on is because I have a few Suns related tweets in my feed.

You can watch it the next day. There are HD quality torrents available for virtually every NBA game hours after the game. And if you don't like torrents, there's also NBA International League Pass (including "Team Pass" which is much cheaper) that lets you watch games online, both live and archived.

I've watched about half of them. Team is in rebuild, or is in destruct mode to rebuild, or I dunno.

JC probably sold to Sarver because he was an Arizona (Tucson) banker.

Arizona = good -- Suns didn't move

Banker = bad -- he's a banker . . . who hasn't made sound decisions in hiring staff or players.

As far as the poll, I still watch every minute of Suns games if I'm home, 'cause I'm a bachelor.

That is not to say I am not at my desk or computer when the game is on. If I had to watch every game (especially 4th quarters) from my reclining chair, I don't think I could take it.

The thing that sucks there are still 9-10 teams that will be worse than the Suns this year which will still give us less of a chance for a Top 5 pick. The only Thing I am rooting for is the Lakers to end out of the playoffs.

It's possible that we'll finish around 11th for lottery seeding but I'd be surprised. I still think we'll end up somewhere around 5th or 6th by the end of the season.

Is a 1st round pick from the Lakers really a good thing? Is still going to be near the middle of the draft - I don't know the family trees of the top college basketball standouts, but I assume at least one player with tons of potential has a sucky brother that we might be able to snag with the 15th pick or so. If no black sheep of a talented basketball family exists, then all the team is going to do with a 1st round pick is trade it for two second round picks (non-guaranteed contracts). Is that really something to be excited about?

Personally, I only watch suns games after a really unhealthy meal, because a front-line of Scola and Gortwat will induces vommitting without technically being bilelumia (I'll have to check the updated DSM to make sure that's still the case).

There's at least 9-10 games I still need to watch. I have all but 1 game recorded, whereas the last 2-3 years - I was recording less and less games.

I haven't found a lot of time to watch/record Collegiate games though; but with about 8-9 years of being disappointed in Suns Drafts lol I'm losing a bit of interest...

Truck Robinson days are back,,,,

More games like last night against Utah (9 pts in the 2nd quarter/80 pts for the game),,,,,I'll be ready to toss in the white towel. Pitiful to watch

Thank the stars that ESPN & TNT has other good games to watch most of the time......

SUNS interest dwindling..........FAST. Empty seats tell the story.

Less that half... I did watch two games carefully recently - trying to see what it was about Scola's defense that someone (AzStevenCal?) found so terrible. Whoever it is they have lambasted him since then so I haven't had a good chance to post my comments.
