How many wins do you think the suns will reach this year? (66 games)

I can honestly see them winning no more than 25 games on this shortened season.

My guess:

24-42 record.

It's sad when all the low win totals sound about right. I guess the Suns winning about a third of their games sounds about right. I don't see how Nash and Hill can hold up under this brutal schedule. I'll go with 22 wins. It could get ugly in a hurry.

I think they'll win roughly half their games but I'm worried about Gortat. If he's not at full strength that could cost us a few games. OTOH, if we saw their best effort in preseason we might be lucky to win 20 games.

Last week Nash says "We aren't a very talented team"

Tonight he says "Stay loyal to us and we will play hard every night"

If the freaking team leader thinks we are in for a bad year, it is going to be BAD.

Like 22-44 bad.

Haven't posted here in a long time, and after watching last night's game don't know how much effort I'll put into the suns this season, but...based on what I've seen (albeit a pretty small sample this season), i'd be surprised to see more than 22 wins.

They aren't any better than they were last season. Lots of other teams seem better (or at least younger). Up here in NoDak, we get to see lots of T'Wolves games and while that used to seem more like a sentence, this year they might be fun to watch. They're young--Love, Rubio, Williams, Beasley, Wes Johnson, etc....that's at least encouraging for their fan base, can't wait for Suns fans to be encouraged similarly.

Thats an interesting post. Intrigue is what makes teams fun to watch. With young, bad teams, at least its the exhuberance of youth and development potential. With Veteran teams its winning.

With this team, there is no hope, especially with Nash. Watching Morris, Gortat, and Lopez is the only real redeeming value.

I'll go with 27 wins, in trust that someone will retrieve this thread at the end of the season so that I can remember what I predicted.

This is going to be a long season (even if it is abbreviated)

This is exactly what I was thinking.

We have very little talent on this team.

I'll go with 18 wins with the assumption that Nash and Hill go to a contender for a rookie contract, expiring deal and future #1.

No trade, probably 33 wins, just outside the plalyoffs and no real chance of winning the lottery.

Last night the Suns finally played after the longest layoff in team history and I found the game completely boring. This team is old, void of talent and bad.

I don't even care how many games they win or lose. Until the idiotic front office does something to make me hopeful that there is at least a light at the end of the tunnel I will remain totally ambivalent.

Hard to imagine more than 20 wins based on losing to a team that was thought to be the worst in the Western Conference.

Maybe I'm reading you wrong but you sound more indifferent than ambivalent. Not that it matters much as I imagine most fans fall into either the indifferent group or the ambivalent one.

I really have no idea at this point. This team should be similar to last year's, so they might get hot and then back cold again and repeat that process all year. None of the issues from last year were addressed, and with less practice time it is going to be more difficult to correct anything during the season.

I wonder if the Suns will pull off another early season trade (not involving Nash) in order to try to patch things up. I don't believe they have any trade assets left that they are willing to part with.

Blow this team up, I am a Suns fan and had more fun watching the Kings beat the Lakers then the Suns home opener, watching a young team and figuring out what their potential could be was fun while watching the Kings. Suns have no Potential, this is the least excited I have been about a Suns team ever! BOOOOOOOOOOOO Sarver destroyed the Suns!
