He was cut from Jacksonville today. He's worth a look IMO.

Man that is just like a curse he was talking and talking to Del Rio on the NFL network training camp show.

I think it's just an awful idea for any team to have their training camp filmed. It should be a private thing for the most part.

Excuse my ignorance, but B. Berry plays RDE too right? If not, it would be worth the time to give this guy a look.

If he could play the left side, that means Dockett goes back inside to under tackle

KVB gets rotated in

it could be worse

He had a pretty big drop off in sacks last year for the Jags. He would have to restructure his contract for us, but I think he can still contibute for a few more years.
anybody know how much of a dropoff? He can only upgrade the position for us. whether he is just a rotation guy at this point or even starter. I can only imagine he probably still had more sacks than anyone on the roster now. I will have to check though

He is 33 and he did drop off dramatically from 12.5 to 3.5 sacks last year but probably has a lot to do with Jags not being as good as Eagles. 3.5 was the lowest in his career save one year where he played only 8 games.

No idea if he's on his last legs, I seem to recall he played LDE in Philly but don't quote me on that.

Might be a good player to show the younger guys some things although I don't think his rep says he does that sort of stuff.

Great player in his prime though.

Wouldn't 3.5 sacks be a team leader on last year's Cardinals?

Old, slow and out of shape. Honestly He must be is really bad shpe because Jville needs some DE's like we need a #2 RB, so if they cut Hugh then he probably will not make it for us.

Per Pasquarelli he played RDE in Philly, not LDE. I thought it was LDE too.

FYI Douglas is another for the money kind of guy. The way he got out of Philly was he had a clause in his contract that if he got 10 sacks, it voided his contract making him a FA. 2 years ago he had 9.5 sacks, the last game of the season Reid "rested" him costing him a shot, he didn't publicly complain. McNabb had a 1 million bonus if he got 1 more TD pass, he too was "rested". Reportedly both guys were openly complaining, until McNabb got his huge new deal.

Douglas got 12.5 sacks his last year in Philly, that voided his deal, and while continually saying he wanted to come back, he of course took the money to go to Jax.
