Turkey and chicken: nasty, righty?
So are you a non gluten eater too?
I thought the taste was good.
This has been a bad summer for produce, right?
Nemesis!
I can't deny that they taste good. I just don't think they should be tasted.
I think it has been if you've been trying to grow it in California or export it into Russia.
Fun Fact: It takes 1800 gallons of water to produce a pound of beef and 25 gallons of water to produce a pound of wheat.

I eat about 1/3 of the meat I used to, like a good steak or pork chop once every couple weeks. Fish is OK, but even the slightest whiff of raw chicken and my gag reflex kicks, can't take it. I would eat pheasants and quail when I used to hunt birds but now i just cant do it. Somehow the smell just revolts me.
I exist now mostly on hard boiled eggs, cottage cheese, yogurt, red chili cheese enchiladas, pineapple, carrots, spaghetti, lemon oreos, bacon, Dryers Rocky Road, green Gatorade, PBJ, frosted mini wheats with half and half-not some wimpy 2% crapola, and brats when I come to tailgate. No alcohol. I'm 67, scrawny and I can kick your butt, the pachucos taught me how....
Am I going to heaven?
.
Yeah, but you're gonna be screwed if god is a cow.

I have no desire to be vegetarian or vegan. I just try to limit the intake of meat or certain foods that are horrible for you in excess while trying to increase my intake of fruits, veggies, nuts, grains, etc. I stopped drinking soda over a year ago and felt better immediately. It was easy to quit for me. I drink water or brewed tea only, eh sometimes some fruit juice or lemonade but rarely.
I do share a banana with my 3 male dogs every morning. They love it. My female dog does not though.
Good topic and conversation.
Not sure where I got it but some advice that my wife and I implemented was when we go grocery shopping we don't really buy stuff from the middle aisles (canned, boxed, frozen foods). Just shop on the perimeter and get lean meats and fresh fruits and veggies.
HHHMMMMPPPHHH.Pork and beef pretty much always tastes better than chicken or turkey, but I don't think I will convince a vegan or a vegetarian.
Haha. To each their own on this one.
I hadn't heard that, but it makes a lot of sense. I'll keep that in mind. Thanks for the tip.
HHHMMMMPPPHHH.
No more fried turkey for YOU!
