What did Horton do that was so bad? I thought he only left because Bowles is BA's guy. Did he trash the team?

You don't miss Pat Tillman? Huh?

I can only guess he thinks the thread is to post about players he misses. Surely no one can be glad Tillman is gone, considering the horrific circumstances. Hell, he's a mythic figure for this franchise as far as I'm concerned.

What, no love for Tom Tupa, punter and QB extraordinare?

Or, my all time favorite personnel move: Fred Wakefield, TE.

Stan once punted for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the CFL and averaged 40.2 yards on 45 punts... but I will always hold #19 dear to my heart AJ lol

And he had more frequent flyer miles than Superman with his stints in the World League lol

LOL. Yeah, I love that pic someone came up with on this board. They put his face on a snail.

Still, he was the first Cards GM who was able re-sign our top free agents on a regular basis. Those of us who remember the trauma of seeing Hearst, McDonald,Novacek, etc leave our team and go light it up for other teams realize Graves was not THAT horrific. Yes, he still can't hold a candle to Keim, but he was able to keep guys like Boldin and Fitz, and they were all key to our Super Bowl run.

Wasn't novacek run out of town for inappropriate "partying/hot tubing" with a couple of 16 y:eek: girls?

I miss watching Q,…

I love this TEAM atmosphere.

What I will always remember about Q was he was all about Q.

Yea, great player, but all about Q. NEVER understood TEAM.

This from the 49's Levi Stadium article:
"There are literally two camps, two locker room atmospheres, two factions of 49ers.

-Old locker room: Justin Smith, Ray McDonald, Anquan Boldin, among others.
-New locker room: Colin Kaepernick, Frank Gore, the entire offensive line, Glenn Dorsey, Antoine Bethea, Eric Reid, the kickers.

That’s not good. I’ve never ever heard that being a good thing for a football team."

He never understood TEAM; how can he be considered a leader?

I don't miss you Anquan Boldin.
