I talked to an ASU teammate of Suggs the other day.

He said that Suggs consistently ran a 4.6 whenever they would practice 40s. He said Suggs was probably nervous.

We talked awhile about him, and he said the guy is an absolute stud, and he will be a great player.

One thing that he said did disturb me. He said that another reason why he would've ran such a bad hard, is that he wasn't working out that hard and was partying all the time. Now, don't get me wrong, I have nothing wrong with partying per se, but Suggs shouldn't be doing that right now.

So now Suggs runs a bad time AND he's loafing when he should b preppin as hard as ever? Man I am on the fence about him as I loved him at ASU, but more and more keeps coming out that scares me about this guy.

Interesting you mention that Krang, I have a politics of brazil class with a center on the team, Jeff Van Lue or something (he must be doing something to pass this class) said the same thing, that Terrell was partying big time around spring break. However, the consensus is that Terrell is a special player, and having watched him for three years, he is an absolute animal, a good leader, and a big playmaker, something the Cards desperately need.

Just make him rent a room from Pete Kendall for the first year - that should keep him focused.

I have heard the same thing too from people that go to school with him.

Anyone heard Bill and Mike talk about Suggs wonderlic test...he supposedly scored like a 33. One of my friends went to high school and college with him and says he is and I will quote "dumb as a rock" which I am finding hard to believe with that kind of score. I guess some people come off as not very educated but they store it all upstairs.

Well then 95% of NFL players are just plain stupid! Have you seen the wonderlic scores? Carson Palmer didn't score a 33 I don't think any of the QB's did.

I know both of his

old high school coaches. I talk to his old RB coach about once a week. This kid is young, smart and very talented. I don't know what anyone else is saying but coach says he isn't going to be a problem at all.

Take the same sample wonderlic from this link, and tell me this is hard. A totally dope could still score very high. It is basically a test of common sense, and has some value. Players that score low on this test are either real dumb or they didn't try.

I say cut Suggs some slack. Anyone else remember back when you finished school?

So he's out there getting wasted and scoring some trim.

Big deal.

I find it kind of refreshing that he isn't a 125% totally football focused robot (ala Chris Kelsey of Nebraska, who works out 6:30am to 7pm every day).

If anything, this will help him slip to #6 so the Cardinals can draft him. As long as he signs on time to make camp, I wouldn't worry.

I agree Ken, but he will need to put that behind him if he wants to be a great NFL player.

I hear ya...I'm not saying his should continue to do he Bluto impression from "Animal House" through out the summer. He will have to focus on football soon enough...and like bartmann said, make him room with Kendall to wake him up, hehehehe

That's what separates the Huskers from other schools in the middle of absolutely nowhere.

I don't think it matters.

In the absences of aquiring ANY pass rush during the offseason, we have ZERO choice but to draft the kid, questions or not. I was hoping for Colvin and Holliday so that we could draft Leftwich, but now there is no way, we have to take Suggs. Maybe at 6 but better to be safe and take him at three.

One thing I have to add: The player I talked to, said there is no way in hell that Suggs will fit right in a 3-4. He said he can't play OLB and is much better suited for end.

I agree he rocks! If he is in a movie I have to watch it even if he is an extra. My second favorite is Jason Lee

Jason Lee is the funniest guy that I think I have ever seen.

As Brodie in Mall Rats, I don't think I have ever seen anyone make me laugh harder than he did!
