Simmons and Russillo are raving about the Suns. Bill wants them to push for 67 wins which is top-5 all time.

Hope they rest the big guns after breaking the franchise mark.
Bill and Russillo have been constant cheerleaders for us the last two seasons.

If I’m Doc Rivers, I’m thinking “ah ha, I got you all if we meet in the Finals!”

Someone needs to breathalyzer that dude before he goes on air.
Right?!? What are people not getting about the suns?

All star backcourt (book and Paul)
Good backup backcourt (Payne, shamet, holiday)
Four 3-D wings (bridges, crowder, cam, Craig)
Excellent two-way center (Ayton)
Excellent center depth (Javale and biz)
Have been excellent ALL SEASON (not just a run here or there)
Have something like 8 of 10 best +\- in league
Have two of the best clutch shooters in league
Have the best clutch performance in league by a team
Have the BEST RECORD IN THE LEAGUE BY 9 GAMES
Have top offensive AND defensive ratings
Best home record
Best road record
Best record against teams over .500
Best record against teams under .500
45-0 when leading heading into 4th quarter
Best record in games < 10 pts
Best record in games > 10 pts
Had second best record in league last year trailing best record by a single game
Made the NBA Finals last year and lead 2-0
Just best the wolves on road, nuggets on road, and sixers at home when we had nothing to play for and they are all fighting for seeding
Good chance this team ends season with one of the top 5 records of all time

Honestly it’s baffling to me how anyone isn’t confident in this team. This team should be looked at as a juggernaut due to the following three items:

1. Finished game out of best record in league last year. Had it gone a full season I believe suns catch and pass utah
2. Made the NBA Finals and lead 2-0
3. Best record in league by 9 games

I’m never one to whine about “what-if’s” but this team is 1 regular season win (last year) and two Finals wins (and two of those games could’ve gone either way) away from leading the league in wins two years running and being defending champs. What ifs count for little, but the fact this squad was a legit razor’s edge from being looked at like a potential dynasty and yet they still aren’t fully recognized as an overwhelming favorite by some is crazy. Guess it’s more fuel to the fire for the squad. Hope they use it.

I just can’t wait for the playoffs. I think the only thing that keeps us from a title are injuries.

It's pretty obvious the media just doesn't like Phoenix. Even Simmons said it in his latest podcast, the media is going to have to suck it up and plan on going to phoenix to cover the playoffs as if that is some kind of punishment.

Probably, but Memphis does scare me. I kind of feel like they are us from last year.

Seriously! Great post!
Sometimes you have to TAKE respect.
And that's what the "Fellas" WILL and are doing.
Enjoy the ride, next year it all changes.

Even some of these accolades are understated. The team is on one this year.

Simmons said he is voting Booker 4th in mvp voting this year. Said he is the Best 2 guard in the league.

Its crazy those things may be true and book may only make 3rd team all NBA.

I think injuries to Ja and Curry have a good shot of knocking them out of the 1st team which Booker slides into, especially if he keeps doing what’s he’s done the last month.

They all hate coming to Phoenix in June. I get that.

That's what's crazy about the Lakers right now is that they are grinding Lebron out with this chase. He can't play 40 minutes a night for a month and expect to be able to play in the playoffs. It won't work.

I think he's known since the All Star break that this season was a dud so he's just focused on winning the scoring title.

I really hope they somehow get the 8th seed.

I can't tell you how much I would relish sweeping them in a humiliating fashion.
