IF AND WHEN HEALTHY...
Didn't they get bot Novachek and Awalt? It 3. A Tight End who we let go to the Cowboys with nothing in return became Troys go to man. This tight end also became an All-Pro for many years.

I disagree with this entire post.
Other than the Big comment, I agree with him.
This is a different team than it had been in the past. They are extending guys before their deals end, and are keeping their core.
Remember what happened after the 98 season? Catastrophe. This last team was as good as that one, just didn't get the lucky breaks...and we are working to at LEAST maintain it, and try to improve it. Last time, we imploded.
To me, that is progress.
What does this mean?? Should they be applauded for that??\I totally agree with you...!!! We are not screwed or doomed like others have posted on this thread. The organization finally is really tired of losing.
How???? Nobody outside of this board calls the contract a good one at all??? Graves gave Fitz practically everything he wanted in the beginning yet took forever to finally get it done. It was a pathetic job. You are letting your homerism blind you IMO.The Fitz contract proves that.
You say I am new to the forum and that is fine. Please dont get upset when I tell you you look new to the game when you say things like this. The same great organization you are praising drafted the guy into the wrong position and tried to fit a square peg ino a round hole for years. They finally put him in the right spot and is a proven top 5 "3-4" OLB in the NFL. Ironically, this is the same thing you say they learned from when they let BIG go. Explain yourself here please. They finally are paying their gifted players like other good teams do by paying the gifted ones what they are really worth, letting the marginal ones go as they please. For the first time they finally get it. The Fitz contract handling should show to the other players on this team and around this league that if you play up to and exceed your potential this organization will finally pay you what you are really worth and if you don not you will be let to go your own way. i.e. Calvin Pace, B. Johnson.
Maybe they just didn't feel like shelling out tackle money to a guard who publicly stated that he didn't want to be here anymore.I think that they learned this by letting "BIG" go last year and seeing him make the pro-bowl at guard for the Cowboys.
How hard is it to look under my user name at when I joined? It seems that you are very new to this forum. But I could be wrong.
I guess by complaining you meant that I dont praise mediocrity. You are right. Here is a very short list of players that have left or that the Cardinal Organization has left to go with out much in return.
1. Free Safety MacDonald to the 49er's. ALL-Pro for many years here and at San Fran.
2. Derrik Kenard for a worthless Corner from the Saint. DK made many Pro-Bowls later with the Cowboys.
3. A Tight End who we let go to the Cowboys with nothing in return became Troys go to man. This tight end also became an All-Pro for many years.
4. Lenard Davis. T/G to the cowboys where last year he made Pro-Bowl.
5. Bobby Jackson better known as Amod Rasahad (sp). Trade to the Buffalo Bills back in the days of O.J.
I could go on and on about this organization. But now they start doing things to become a winner you complain.
