Udonis Haslem has torn ligament

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/truehoop/miamiheat/news/story?id=5836434

MIAMI -- An MRI exam Sunday confirmed that Udonis Haslem indeed has a torn ligament in his left foot, which will rob the Miami Heat of their ever-reliable power forward for at least six weeks and likely much longer.

Man, lets just hope that Bosh does not get hurt now Haslem is out. That would be the weakest team down low in history. I wonder if they want Beasley back now?

I thought this was pretty funny. Professor James on whether the NBA should have fewer teams:

"Imagine if you could take Kevin Love off Minnesota and add him to another team and you shrink the [league]. Looking at some of the teams that aren't that great, you take Brook Lopez or you take Devin Harris off these teams that aren't that good right now and you add him to a team that could be really good. Not saying let's take New Jersey and let's take Minnesota out of the league. But hey, you guys are not stupid, I'm not stupid, it would be great for the league."

What a jackass. Whether or not he has a point, I bet folks in NJ and Minnesota are loving him right now.

I think what he is actually saying is, "Kevin Love, Devin Harris and I have already agreed that they will join Miami when their contracts are up, so why no eliminate bad teams now so we can speed up the inevitable".
