But my point was about how Barkley, no matter how outrageous it sounds, could change the Suns wuss image and I think that is a key part of the picture right now.
So could Andre the Giant, Dwayne Johnson and Terry Crews. Doesn't make them good GMs though.

OK, I'll amend it to bring in Charles as Vice President and Director of Basketball Operations to define goals and hire a basketball pro as GM. And oversee the progress.

One who will hire a Head Coach and Assistants with leadership/basketball experience to change the image of the Suns and the direction in which they are headed.

Of course, as long as Sarver micromanages basketball operations, that will never happen. So it is all a moot point. But I feel better getting it on the (ASFN) record.

And Andre the Giant could coach rebounding. And wrestling your opponent to the floor. Good idea, Chap. :)

You want the Suns to bring in Barkley, you want the Suns to be a respectable franchise.

There are ZERO franchises in this league that would, even remotely, consider Barkley for a front office role.

He's a clown and the only thing I'd trust him overseeing is a "fun weekend in Vegas" and even that I'm sure would turn into a disaster.

He'd get his money's worth at Caesars Palace Bacchanal buffet (my favorite). :)

Looking thru the talk here I see almost no talk of how to improve. Mostly complaints. Here is a thought on how to improve. Your team never wins for years. Go get Milos Teodosic. What do you have to lose? He's better than any one you have. Maybe he stay if you win?

Can he play power forward? Can he get our best player healthy? Can he teach our young guys how to really play the game and turn 20 year olds into 26 year olds? Can he stay healthy? If not yes to each of those, he's probably not our solution. But sure, he'd be an upgrade to what we have at the point guard spot. I don't think he's the answer long term as a starter but we've mentioned him several times as a nice fill-in until we can find what we really need.

Yup. What, you’re a bit of a Johnny come lately. We’ve discussed Teodosic as a short term fix. But not willing to give up much for an oft-injured older player.

Here is why I think Milos won championships in Europe. The ball starts with a guard.

This is why Doncic also won a championship. At 19. To me, until you understand this, you understand little.

We understand that we desperately need a pg to win. But Steve’s point is we need more than just a pg. And though Teo may improve us he’s not going to magically cure all that ails this team and suddenly make a team with no power forward and a slew of young pups into a contender. Until you understand what Steve’s point was you understand nothing.

You're right, we don't know everything. But I'm guessing you didn't come here for friendly conversation so I won't keep you in your search for people that do know it all.

Sorry.

I did actually came here for that. I got sidetracked. Someone told me I understand nothing. I disagree.

I'd recognize that bold type anywhere -- it's the son of Cubby! Remember to use unmatched parentheses for emphasis, like this: (((And you are getting worse.)

Sorry to miss your witty rejoinder, but I've already put you on Ignore.

Fair enough. And some of us can get a little defensive at times.

Did I hurt your feelings literally right after you told someone they “understand little?” Holy cow.

Don't worry about it. You didn't hurt my feelings. Do you think it's ok to be an arse.

And neither did the initial post but you're silent!
Buddy you were the first to throw out an insult at a respected poster here. Don’t cry when someone throws it back in your face.

But mighty big of you to try to turn it back to basketball while calling people names. You’re aaaaaaall class.
