Jake just never learns. Screen is wide open, and he throws in the middle and gets picked again.

Teams have been trying all year to get ahead and make Plummer beat them throwing. Now we see why.

Plummer sucks. :biglaugh:

No, the Cardinals suck, that's why Jake threw so many picks here...not because he's a bad QB...

Plummer made some nice passes on that drive.

yep, and Lelie madea great catch on the sideline, his WR's have really helped him on the deep throws today.

Classic Jake - making some unbelievable plays; trying to will his team to victory.

they said he had the flu earlier in the week so it makes it even more impressive that he can escape those sacks.

he always was a competitor.

Jake has not played well but you can't hang this all on him.

The Steelers had all day to throw in the first half and their receivers were wide open play after play.

On top of that Porter came untouched on about a half dozen plays. My grandmother said the Broncos were going to have to block Porter to have a chance?

The flu comment was for all the Denver apologists up here. Everyone is hurt and sick right now, that is the playoffs.

Jake has played a mediocre game at best, and that is only because of his play in the 4th quarter.

Denver had no business being in this game and it shows.

Well its all over for Choke Plummer. Not a bad run for an ex Cardinal though.

I thought he said he had "a cold"? Poor Jake. Always an excuse.

When are the Jake apologists going to blame today's game on the Bidwills? :D

I don't blame Plummer for this game as much as I do Shannahan. He was flat out coached today.

They had homefield. They had a great crowd. And they can't even said the refs were against them since they had been called for 1 penalty for 5 yards until the 4th quarter.

The second half Jake has had no time, but first half he was far from stellar. The pick he threw with under two minutes in the first half was all him, and it is what I think put this game away.

Exactly. I think its safe to say that Plummer was just as big a part of all those picks as the "the Cardinals sucked" crap i always hear. Yeah no doubt the cardinals are/were a bad team. And if you put a good team around him, you can mask his stupidity and penchant for bad throws with an excellent running game and defense. But once you get to the AFC/NFC Championship games and the Super Bowl, when the best coaches and defenses are game planning for you and making you beat them.....well thats when Jake is going to have a 4 turnover game. He has made some good throws, but so does every starting QB three or four times a game.

Can we just come to grips that Stupid Jake + Bad Cardinals team = no consistent success? Neither was the cause of the other. They are mutually exclusive. I dont hate Jake and i was hoping he would prove me wrong. But i feel like i understand his game better than most after my 7 straight years of watching every game he played in and this should be no surprise. In fact the only surprise is that this 4 turnover game came this week opposed to last week against Belichek (although his ability to scheme for Jake was hampered by the fumbles)

Jake Plummer is one win from the Super Bowl....?

Yeah so was Kordell Stewart......
