Ayton looks like he is trying to do a dance move like a pirouette instead of banging.

Ayton should’ve just faked an injury and not played in this one...yes Gobert is the best defensive C in tha game but damn this is humiliating, I’m embarrassed for him.

Igor has great feel for his players ....some games he goes with Daniels then let's give him 16 games off now let's see Crawford then let's sit him 19 games....let's get Melton err who hasn't played in 14 games. No rhyme no reason with this coach
Yes sarcasm before poop yells at me for not watching the games

Booker, Oubre and Johnson have been unable to find another running mate tonight.

Maybe Booker's 3 pointer can get the Suns going.

Gobert is a tough matchup for most bigs. He's about to be a 3 time first team All Defense and is likely to win his second DPOY in just a few months. He's a little taller, a little stronger, a little older and a lot longer than Deandre so I'm not too worried about it. Especially since he didn't just give up, he came back and did some good things defensively.
Too many excuses. Hes played Gobert before. Ayton is 1-9 with 2 points, zero free throws, and 2 rebounds since the first quarter. This is a monstrous regression game for Ayton. As well as he’s played recently, this game is a big step back for him. He plays well, or even average, it’s a one or two possession game.

last time these teams played was Feb 6th

Ayton 20 points 10 rebounds 10-19

Gobert 16 points 12 rebounds 5-8

Now all of a sudden he’s scared of him? Is he having a bad game? Worst game of his rookie year? Yes but is he scared of him? No. How quickly people forget.

I get it he’s playing bad but to jump to he’s scared is a bit drastic this ain’t the first time he’s seen him, relax
Exactly. So why are his balls shriveling up?

Well that was a crappy return to reality.

Ayton’s worst game. He needs to watch it, see what he did wrong. Make his mind up to adjust. Throw the game away. And just come back with a vengeance in the next game.

Ayton and Bridges had 2 points each. This should not happen.

Ayton the missing piece tonight

1/9 from the floor. Gobert dominated him tonight.

Everyone else seemed to be solid

Yeah, Utah is a tough, disciplined team. You aren't gonna beat them when you have three players playing offense and four or five playing defense. I want Crawford benched the rest of the season. Melton at least plays defense.

For the past 30 years any game that involves Utah seem so boring and long. It's like they have this power that drains all our players and we are always a step slower

In regard to Melton, he missed a number of games with a severe right ankle sprain. He is trying to work his way back.

“Just trying to manage it and see how it feels,” said the 20-year-old Melton of the injury which initially required him to wear a boot and walk with a cane. “First time being hurt. I’m just trying to fight through sometimes the soreness.”

I was disappointed in his play in the 2nd half but I thought he did some good things in the first despite not scoring.
