BTW, Mainstreet, Scola was fouled on that one play. He had a legit complaint but so did Jefferson on his, these refs are pretty much letting both sides play physically. You can't whine when it goes against you when you've been having it go your way too. Refs don't like that at all.

I remember a game about 7 years ago in Seattle where we were getting blown out. The Sonics were getting every single call and they were manhandling us without consequence. Anyway, the Sonics got all over the refs in the 3rd quarter on a couple of non-calls in a row and it pissed the refs off and from that moment on every call went our way and we came back from a huge deficit and won easily. If the refs are letting you play your style of game, keep your mouth shut.

This team is a lot more fun to watch when Dudley is playing like this.

Carroll has been a thorn in the Suns side. He is a hustler but he gets away with fouls.

Tucker is like a freight train when he takes it to the basket.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the key to this team playing well is keeping the combined minutes down for both Beasley and Scola. Keep Scola under 20 or so and let Beasley shoot his way into minutes. If he's hot, you can play him for 15 or 20 minutes and if not keep him under 10. Tonight, they're going to combine for roughly 32 minutes.

It's Zeller time. Strange to see him out there in a game we're going to win.

You may be right. If there is a winning combination Gentry will eventually find it.

I'm still trying to figure out how Zeller made the team. His shooting is poor when he gets a chance. I can't find any assets to hang his hat on.

When else should he play? :D

Well, on this team, he's had a much better chance of seeing the court during the garbage time of a blowout loss. It will always be garbage time, it's just nice to be on the plus side when it happens.

You hit it on the nose.

It was interesting, and effective, how Gentry used the minutes at each position.

Center......Gortat-33, O'Neil-15.....................Total-48.

PF............Beasley-18, Morris-17, Scola-13.....Total-48.

WINGS.....Dudley-43, Brown-32,Tucker-15......Total-96.

PG...........Dragic-34, Telfair-11.....................Total-45.

Garbage...Garrett, Johnson, Zeller-each 1:44.

Beasley, 3 blocks, 3 assists, 3 rebounds, 2-2 on 3's and 11 points in 19 minutes off the bench.

Not too shabby. Much better having Beasley come off the bench.

Great game but I personally just can't enjoy this win because of the tragedy this morning.

Our guys played good but I wish it was on another night.

Couple notes.

- Beasley plays better at PF forcing bigger guys out to guard him on the perimeter. He's way to fast for those guys and can get open jumpers any time he wants.
- The best way to play SCB is in that Jamal Crawford role, but you test the waters and if it's not warm enough to your liking you just sit him the whole game. I can almost stomach his salary for the rest of the year and next if he's used this way.
- I have a lot of crow to eat regarding Tucker. We probably have a couple less wins if they kept Diogu over him as I wanted.
- We probably need to trade Morris. We're playing Dudley too many minutes and Brown too much out of necessity, and Brown, much like SCB, should only play when he's hot.
- We'll probably try and sign Iggy in the offseason, why not make a play for him now?

I think once Tucker is closer to 100% the Suns will be able to limit Dudley's and Brown's minutes better. Not that I'm against trading Morris, I just don't think the Suns will get much for him. It also creates a similar problem at the 4 with Beasley and Scola.

I like what I've seen from Markieff this year. Don't see why they would trade him.

Super Cool Beasley. It's not a compliment.

Steve

I would not have guessed that SCB = Super Cool Beasley. I must travel in different circles although I pondered what Shannon Brown's middle name might be thinking it might get me there. :)

Same here but then I read the post again and I realized it couldn't be Brown because of the context.
