I wonder if we could go after Akeem Hicks. Rumors been going around the bears are shopping him.

Don’t know if we have the cap space. But if this guy is healthy, he can be a handful.

Edit. Nevermind. Hicks has missed more than he’s played.

It is what it is. I think this extra bad news is meaningless for the Packers game tomorrow. If anything, Phillips, Allen, Fotu may actually play great because of this for a game or two. How many times in sports have we seen a great player go down and then the team rise up in the next game? ANS: a lot.

No one is going to feel sorry for us. The team and players can't feel sorry for themselves. So I am not either. It's the sport. No team stays 100% healthy. None.

It's not just replacing his production. That's only part of it.

He's like Jordan in that he's got the intangible where he makes the people around him better. Only a few guys in the league have that.

Just like he made the Texans so good in recent years lol

Stop.

Just brutal, his first few games he was in the backfield on run plays and the last 4 he was both playing the run and in the backfield on passing plays.

So weird I don't even recall him getting hurt.

The flip side: these guys go out and ball for him the rest of the season and all his tutoring and leadership rubbed off on others to take the reigns. Emotional leaders like this can still be a force...on the sideline. I think he'll be there for the guys in any capacity that he can.

And the Suns lose on a ridiculous three point buzzer beater after a great comeback (against a bad team).

Classic day of Phoenix sports.
