Hey,
I post very little, but I have been around since Mike was running his page...I can't recall the name, but I was Bob (not my real name). Anyway, I'm sure you remember Mark the annoying guy who never had a nice thing to say of the Suns. What happened to him? Did you finally give him the boot?

Yeah, I remember him. His latest name was KJJK, but it's been so long since he's been around here--I have no idea where he went off to.

Sometimes I think his new name here is "elindholm", but I'm probably just dreaming... :D

LOL now now, play nice! :D
That's right, KJJK. I remember him from when the board was at the last place, but did he ever make it to this one?

That's a good question. I don't believe he ever did.

It's really amazing that for what, 4 years or more this board has moved around and yet most of the old school folks are still here arguing daily.
It is the best place on the net for Suns info and I have to think at least a Suns player or staff has visited. Any confirmed visits?

KJJK retired after the Diamondbacks won the World Series. He made a nice post about how his years of supporting Phoenix sports teams had finally found fulfillment, and then he was gone.

I wouldn't go to that much trouble to have a public conversation with myself....

I ended up at Sunsbackcourt.com near the end and didn't post much then but most of my posts were always directed toward KJJK (Marcullen) although I didn't have a problem with him but he always had something to discuss - most of my posts now are Draft related. I too wondered what happened with him - anywho, just adding to my post count.

I had totally forgotten about the guy.

I can't remember. Who were the first guys to join on that original rivals Phoenix Suns message board? Obviously Chandler Mike was one person, and Alan was another. Then there was a handful of us who came over from the Cardinals message board that had been popular. Jim (Skkorpion) was a radio or on that airs on the Cardinals message board. Just like now he would visit us on the Phoenix Suns message board.

Good times, good times (wiping a tear from my eye). ;-)

I thought I was one of the first ones also--I actually came from the ESPN board with Sunscat. There was very few of us back then. (Man, was it THAT long ago?) That had to be sometime in the summer of 1999 or so...

We might ask for a directory of registered posters (what do you call someone who posts  ) and when they last posted.

I don't know all the other boards there are that do the Suns, but this one is far and away the most sophisticated one I've come across. The amount of personal rancor is actually pretty low (comparatively) and the knowledge level is quite high. I imagine it can get a bit intimidating for a new comer, but I hope not too much.

Our team may not be that great, but I'll match our web posters with any other team's fans.

I lurked at the ESPN board for a while and then found out a few of the posters posted at the Rivals board so i migrated there. Started posting on that site occasionally. So I've been around for a long time, I just never post for whatever reason.

No, elindholm isn't KJJK... I knew the latter under the name of Marcullen on another board and when I came here it took about three of KJJK's posts to realize who it was. Eric isn't much like Marc in what he says or in style. The one person who might know where Marc is, is Minercon - she tends to keep track of people much better than the rest of us. She may well not read this thread, however.

I've been posting since the Rivals board, too (much to the dismay of my wife).

A couple of months ago, I trashed my list of passwords from all old sites. It did bring back memories.

I know, I was making a joke. Those of us that knew Marc hopefully would have gotten it (apparently not though).

Mike is definitely the main guy though--he was the guy that got it all started way back when.

I've known most of the guys on this thread for a long time now--almost 5 years, I'd guess. (Is that right, Joe? Dang, 5 years of knowing you is like being bashed over the head with a sledgehammer!) :D

Ahhh the summer of 99 over on the ESPN board. The lockout season, I remember it well. Thats when I started (rarely) posting and following this rag tag group of suns fans all over the internet.
Had a different name back then, but always been more or less a lurker. However its been nice to have other Suns fans to talk to over the years. Everyone in Texas follows the big 3 except me it seems!

I'll agree with everyone else, this group of guys has to be some of the most well informed, and interesting Suns fans on the net!

I came over from Mike's site.

What was the name??
I remember posting on the rival site, was that the same site? I do not think so.?

I do not remember the name I used there, but enjoy reading all the posts here, the people here are more knowledgable about the suns than other sites.

I remember seeing all the number of posts and seeing chaplin's and saying,
jeeez does that guy have a life........ :p :p :p

Sunsbackcourt.com of course, greatest site ever!

Those of you who were with me from the beginning have sure come a long way...pretty amazing that a few of us are still together.

BTW, not sure if anyone knows this, and I was asked a long time ago not to say it, but since Marc, KJJK doesn't post here anymore...I believe he also used to go as "Capologist" on the old site...

Does he still post around here?

That's what Sunscat did (although he is now known as Swingman).
