I thought I was one of the first ones also--I actually came from the ESPN board with Sunscat. There was very few of us back then. (Man, was it THAT long ago?) That had to be sometime in the summer of 1999 or so...

I was one of the originals to that board. I believe I was even in the HOF! I posted even more than Chap back then, if you can believe it!

We used to have some great gametime chats back then as well. Mike had the press passes and would checking with class during halftime and after the games. Actually, towards the end of the season we've had a nice little group in the chat room as well.

Well, it's been a great five years discussing the Phoenix Suns with you guys. The team hasn't always been great. The trades haven't always been great. Overall it's been great though.

I was only hoping for a question answered, but it's great that all these names I have seen along the way have popped into the thread! We may not always agree, but this is the only board (group of people) I have ever bothered to post on. I think we all owe Mike a thanks for starting this 5 years ago!

Believe it or not, I've been around since Sunsbackourt.com.

KJJK (earlier marccullen) was one, among others that posted on an old AOL board. Someone posted a link to Mike's site, and I've been here since.

That's right, you were around when I came by all those years ago... There's a good amount of us, but probably not as many as you'd think.

I think it's testament to our love of the Suns, and our appreciation to Mike (and now Skkorp, even though he rarely does anything Suns) for having such a great forum.

And hey, I used to be WAY more confrontational and nasty--ask Mike or Alan, or even Fischerking and BIM, I've improved a lot. So this board is ALSO life-affirming and it's own little self-help resource...

Yes you were!
I remember you as my first confrontation on the board at rivals. You got nasty!!! I believe I told you to stop kissing Mike's a$$ or something like that. There is still a large group that has managed to find this board as it bounced around. In fact whenever it has disappeared...I do a google search for Chaplin and Suns and never fail...there you are in a thread telling someone their idea was ridiculous!

The funny thing is, I don't think I could ever let this thing go away...if somehow Jim wanted to stop doing this, I'm sure I'd ask for small donations to keep the site going...

It's been fun, and while I don't post much anymore, I still love to watch the Suns and read your guys stuff.

And I do remember those Gametime chats Joe...sometimes, I'd have my laptop right where I was sitting during the games, and would actually chat while I typed...now what reporter could ever say he did that!!??

marc was one of the most annoying and negative posters of all time and I don't miss him at all! I didn't start until oct of 99, I also remember seven as a regular poster at that time, all though he had a different moniker at that time, this has been a great group of ppl, I wish I had more time to post more often, I don't have alot of time to do research and so I'm glad alot of you guys do it for me. thank you all for your time and dedication!
