ESPN's John Clayton calls the Eagles and the Giants the front-runners to acquire Anquan Boldin via offseason trade.
Philadelphia is reportedly the current favorite. Clayton believes Boldin's trade demand will be met, which would be big news for Steve Breaston fantasy owners. Agreed. He either plays for us (which is looking doubtful) or we get as much as we can out of him. If he sits we have to eat his contract, have a roster spot being used and don't get any compensation for not having him.

I have never had much confidence in Graves so we will see. I do agree that a Pro Bowl WR for a late 1st and 3rd sounds like a bad deal.

McCardell sat out like half the season with Tampa before he was traded to San Diego for a 3rd & 5th round pick. He was 34 yrs old when that happened. So there is precedence and its not unheard of.

We need to either give him an extension or trade him, letting him sit would be a bad move.
