There are really people in this world 2014 who think that double standard doesn't exist lol. That's not racism that's pretty much reality that a lot of us deal with on a daily basis.

What do you mean the media looks at white and black athletes different whaaaaaat.

I've never seen an athlete just throw it in the face of the NCAA like this kid. That show me the money stuff from earlier in the year wow. Imagine if that was Cam Newton with the stuff surrounding him that year.

Must be a nice world love to visit it someday

Guys, this isn't the P&R forum. If you want to talk about Manziel and racism, start a thread in that forum.

What does Cam have to do with anything? You were wrong about him too, is that why you are posting about Newton? I may be from the hood, but you be wearing one.

I don't really think your understanding here guy matter fact I know your not. I think this has pretty much gone over your head. Who's wrong about Cam Newton? Never once said anything bad about him. This was about media coverage not my personal feeling think you pretty much missed that.

Anyways

He's small, makes very poor decisions, takes a lot of hits, has that gun slinger mentality that's good and bad but he doesn't really have that cannon like Farve, hasn't really shown to much maturity.

Is this really the guy you want to hand the franchise over to? I wouldn't

I think he will succeed in the pro game. He has the physical skills, throwing accuracy, intelligence, leadership. But the thing that I see the most is incredible competitive fire. I believe he is smart enough to adjust his game to avoid injuries in the NFL.

About his size and mobility. Mobility is a very important thing for a smaller player, as long as you use it intelligently. This kid is smart. He will use his mobility to avoid direct hits. He has a 6th sense about where defenders are and has an ability to make just enough of a move to avoid a hit. He also has incredible body control and balance.

Yes, I would take him.

His teammates love him and pleading for him to come back. He says he hasn't made a decision yet. The deadline is 2 weeks away.

He goes #1 to Houston.. that's my prediction.

Just like most every year...... The further we get from the actual games, and the deeper we get into the evaluation process...... People like Johnny get buried.

He will be gone before #20 but he ain't going #1.

A kid with size 15 shoes is still growing into his frame.

I think he goes to the Dog Pound. They need a face of the franchise

and something to get excited about. They have Joe Thomas, Josh

Gordon, Jordan Cameron and an extra first rounder to soften the blow

if he turns out to be a bust. If I had to take an educated guess he

is going to the Browns.

I believed Cleveland would have been a likely landing spot for him, until they fired Chud, one of the brightest offensive football minds in the game. If they make a defensive skewed HC hire, Johnny Manziel might be too risky in a defensive oriented arena. I see Manziel ending up in Jet's city. Perfect for that media driven city.

Once Cleveland finishes the Rooney interview today, Josh McDaniels will be tomorrow and should have a deal by Monday. McDaniels is already targeting Ryan Mallett as his QB in Cleveland. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Indy pick go to NE for him.

Or the Vikings. They need to sell tickets for that new stadium

Just read that ESPN had their highest ratings for a non-BCS bowl since 2000 for this game.

Yeah, he will put butts in the seats. And, wherever he is drafted, that team is going to get a ton of national attention going into the 2014 season. There are owners who care about that stuff.

I told my brother last night just imagine how many jerseys that team

would sell. ( whoever gets Johnny)

Johnny Jet will be an awesome nickname. Biggest player to hit Gotham City since Joe Willie Namath.
