In watching highlights of Cooper I noticed that he would invariably overrun the point-of-attack when pulling or during a screen pass, resulting in missed/off-balance blocks.
But...the more I think about it, it should even out due to the faster pace of an NFL line of scrimmage.
In my opinion, he'll be a better fit for an Arians-style offense than Warmack would.
I'd still like to see us have the opportunity to draft Larry Warford in the 2nd, even if we draft Cooper at #7. My man-love for Warford is almost as strong as it is for Massie, the dude just seems to have everything you'd want in an NFL guard.
I like the idea that Cooper can play center if needed
Cooper and Warford. Bring it on. Interior addressed.
Dude, don't get me excited, or I'll end up headbutting someone in my organic chemistry class...in a good way!
MJ said Warmack may have a shoulder injury that could be a factor.
He also said that Cooper reminds some of Alan Faneca with his ability to pull.
I don't know how you pass on Warmack, especially for another guard. Warmack is almost universally considered the only sure thing in the draft.
Hope this is a smoke screen.

I think we'd like to trade down and draft Cooper.
Nobody wants to trade up really. Atlanta @30, Baltimore @32
I was hoping for Warmack and Warford with the OLine nickname of the Warmasters... We're probably better off without the nickname but it is a superpower of mine...
