I say we bring in AP, Ray Rice, Josh Gordon, and Daryl Washington. Hell, lets see if we can Darren Sharper on a work release program for 6 months a year and bring him in as well :D.
have them all in a death match at half time...last man standing gets a roster spot??

As desperate as we have been at linebacker, we let Washington go without giving him a 2nd look and he only popped hot what, twice? What makes you think we're going to bring in a multiple offender. It's obvious Gordon doesn't get it. Think about it, he's thrown away millions, MILLIONS, just to smoke weed. Worse yet, he knows they're watching him. He's been busted several times meaning he's getting tested often and he still smokes. I don't want that kind of stupid anywhere near this team. In fact, he should have received a lifetime ban 3 years ago.

Ricky Williams retired so he could smoke all he wanted.

But then he came back.

There is a big difference between Washington and Gordon. Washington got a big deal and then got popped, then decided to miss additional tests and prolong his suspension. Then, once he finally did do what he was supposed to, the team welcomed him back, but wanted him to take a pay cut since he literally stole money from the team and he refused opting to start a modeling career.

Gordon is still on his rookie deal and was on the verge of a lifetime ban and decided to seek treatment, which lead to his reinstatement. He even got additional help before the season started so he could get through the season. He is willing to try and get help, while Washington isn't. Not saying Gordon will succeed, but he appears to be trying.

That's just it. He quit. Hell, I'd love to take a year off and spend it blazing.
it shows that heavy smokers can come back.... if nothing else...someone at least hook the kid up with a good spot to buy urine and teach him how to warm it like every other player in the damned nfl

The Cardinals aren't above reproach considering we let our GM come back after his 2nd DUI.

Showed up late to practice and was "not himself" and Cleveland.com reporting "there was concern that perhaps he was struggling again with his sobriety or on the verge of relapsing, sources said." Otherwise known as he probably showed up high or drunk, or both.
If he wasn't himself, isn't that a good thing?

Anyways, a source just told me at least "8 to 10 teams have called" the #Browns inquiring about potentially trading for WR Josh Gordon. Some teams r adamant abt not wanting it known their organization is calling, I'm told. Clear reasons to be tight. I've heard about some though.

Get him. I doubt it would cost that much. If he succeeds, great. If he fails, no big loss.

They are just trying to create interest to increase the price....word already came out they were planning to release him
.. nobody is going to pay much

I hear you but that's not the point for that very reason. Some people still value what Gordon can bring and might want to trade for him before his release so they have rights to him over his personal choice as a free agent... and the Browns can get at least something
