He said they are focused real hard at running the ball. Thats where everything starts.

A control offense, with a strong running game.


He said he works hard on Accuracy, and understanding defence with alot of video, so he can get the ball in play as fast as he can.

MJ asked him if he is gunna slide more this year. McCown said he needs to practice that because it isnt natural for him. He never wants to go down.

He plays alot of basketball with the guys on the team. They developed a good bond on the offseason playing basketball together.

He said McCown is a gym rat. He puts in alot of work, and is way more mature at this point in his career than Plummer was.

He wasnt saying that Plummer didnt want to improve, but with McCown you can REALLY see how bad he wants "it"...

Good interview by Mike and Bill. MJ said that Josh is more mature than Jake ever was when Jake was here. Josh stays in the facility and is gym rat. Funny interview. I have to take a 15 minute break and listen to the radio. B-day comming up this July 4.

Some interesting stories:

Couldnt discuss the results of the QB challenge, but sounded like Bill Lewis knows, because he asked who the receiver was who dropped two passes and cost Josh some money.............. the culprit was Troy Brown of the (stinkin') Patties... Josh joked that Troy must have been thinking ahead to the second game of next year......Josh told Brown "every other QB here is a high #1 pick, or on their second contract.... I am still working towards that and I got three kids at home, catch that ball, I need the money......."

Josh plays basketball with Freddie, Q, BJ and Nate. He said Fitz has made noise about joining, but he said that they will have to send someone over to work him out to see if he is good enough to play.

Will spend the time between workouts and camp looking at Ram and Patriot film to start to get ready.

I dont know if Josh will be good or bad, but the guy is so darned earnest it is impossible not to root for him. You can get a sense of how teammates would respond positively to him as well.

I agree with your assessment, here...except for Favre...I don't think he's gonna let age catch up with him...He's gonna retire before that. I do think McCown has a better "upside" than most of the other QB's on this list, though! Go Josh!

Why has Culpepper had only two chances to make the Pro Bowl? Do you not count the other two seasons he played?

Which year did Favre suck? Find me one.

Have you ever watched Vick play. His ability to pass is nearly equal to his ability to run. Far and away the most talented QB in the league.
