Cribs would be depth signing and ST captain. Can't see him supplanting anyone on the WR depth chart, currently. He'd be no better than #4.

It'll be interesting to see how much he gets paid. Yes, the KR role has diminished, but he's still a bigger threat than WiPo, IMO. And seeing as our offense will be a dumpster fire next season, yards will come at a premium. Take them where you can get them.

He's an aging useless relic who hasent had a KO return TD in over 3 years.. PASS

I wouldn't mind Cribbs if he signs for cheap. He could play the Sean Morey role. Maybe a little Wildcat, too.

Better looking women, better weather, and $$$$ can sway a man's heart.

I've watched Cribbs from his college days into the pros. He's a waste of time. I have no idea why the Cards would waste cap space and money on this guy. They have so many other needs to address and they want to bring in a guy like Cribbs :(.

He better like Clam Chowder. As to whether he's any good, it's a good (NE/AZ professionals) vs. bad (ASFN) battle. Winner will be announced in October.

Josh Cribbs would be a solid special teams player in the mold of Leon Washington. He's an upgrade over LSH in the return game and frees PP21 to concentrate on becoming an elite shutdown cornerback.
Finally a free agent (besides Reggie Bush) I can get excited about.

Answer: To upgrade the kick return game.

The three-time Pro Bowler -- who ranked fourth in the NFL with 27.4 yards per kickoff return and sixth with 12 yards per punt return last season -- acknowledged he doesn't detect much interest from upper management in having him back. He's trying to stir up their interest.

I don't want him at 2 million a year, but if he can be had somewhat less than that, than sure sign the guy. He can play all four special teams units and is still a decent return specialist.

local sports talk here in the northeast say he is in AZ and believe he will sign here since the pats will not sign cribbs if they sign welker and they believe the welker negotiations will drag on long enough where cribbs takes AZ offer.

I'd rather have the guys covering kickoffs for the Browns. 19.8 yards per return vs the 26.4 the Cardinals allowed.
