Keep or release my season tickets?

It's been 22 years. The games are fun, but my god it's a slog. We have 4, 2 in 117 and 2 in 112, 4th rows.

I'm very much debating whether to renew. We couldn't go to the game today as we were at Disney this weekend, and it was the only game we missed.

With the raised prices, the play on the field, the seemingly discordant vibes the ownership is giving for long time season ticket owners, the drive and traffic and general whole day for a game time frame, I don't know how much longer I can keep doing this.

I may just go down to 2 tickets, as our kids are all grown and rarely go to games with us, but we like to go with friends and have a tailgate, but sometimes it's like pulling teeth to get people to give up their Sunday.

Why give up your tickets now, just when the current staff (to me) is starting to turn things around. (good vibes after the win today). Good things are on the horizon. A lot different than in years past (to me).

I am not a ticket holder, nor watch games live and in person. Only watch on TV or phone. So, probably not one to listen to.

I dumped all of mine 3 years ago. Truly one of the best decisions I’ve ever made and I have not once regretted doing so!
The Cards and frankly, the NFL enterprise aren’t worthy of our time and our $$!

People bitch about our fan base. But unless you have been a ticket holder from the SDS days through the last 5-6 seasons you just can't get how game day and the vibe has changed.

My advice is just keep the 2 in section 112 since you don't really need 4. They will sell better if you have to sell and it's just a better seat. It has also been my frustration that when I have had an extra ticket and literally want someone to just go with me for free it is harder than you would think. It's guaranteed to take 8 hours out of your day and so few casual fans want to do that.

117 is my original home of our original 5. We just got 112 this year and they are slightly better, but much more $.

112 doesn't look like they sell better on seatgeek, based on what sells. We like 112, but 117 is probably what we keep if we go the keep 2 route.

Something about the endzone. 112 doesn't have the same vibe. Plus, I have SO many memories in those 117 seats. Playoffs, lots of larry TDs, Calais pregames, my son jumping in my arms on a John Brown TD in the endzone vs Philly,patting Dansbys helmet after the strip/sack/fumble vs green bay, Hightower 2pt conv. I don't want to ever lose 117.

I hate I'm even here, but this is where this team has brought me.

My daughter took over our two five years ago. It's a social event for her and friends.
The rest of the clan comes for the games at my place. Gameday at the stadium is an all day event.

I think you would be making a mistake to give up your tickets now. Unless, of course, it’s a major hassle getting to and from. I’ve never been a fan of the Bidwill regime over the decades of ineptitude, but someone has to give Michael some credit for finally formulating a plan that could provide results long term. MOJG have done a nice job of taking this team down to the studs & rebuilding from scratch. 23 draft picks the last 2 years, an eye towards developing young talent, and they’re building a physical brand of football. The latter being something in my 60 years of watching almost NEVER happens. With a brutal schedule this year, and another year of injuries, this team was still competitive throughout with the exception of a couple of games. Continue to draft, develop, and add a few FA’s in critical areas, and this team could win 11-12 games very soon. I’ve followed this team since 1964, and this is the most excited I’ve ever been about the direction of the franchise. 2025 will be a critical year. If they do what they did in 2022, then dump the tickets, but not now. You’ll regret doing that.

You are at the same point where I was when I let go of my Season Tickets.

I had 5 seats and had been a season ticket holder for 23 years. My teenage kids no longer wanted to go to the games with me and the wife and I had a hard time finding people wanting to go to the game with me during the Wilks season which was my final year of season tickets.

I was tired of the long drive and fighting to get into the parking lot and through security. Then the fight to get out of the parking lot. Game day ended up being an entire Sunday and I would get home exhausted. I found the food offerings at the stadium Subpar at best. Don't get me started on the beer and cocktail prices.

I decided that as much as I enjoyed being a part of the fan base rooting on the Cardinals that the overall gameday experience wasn't worth my time or money.

Ironically now my kids are both in college and want to go to the games again. I told them to get good grades and a great job out of college. Then buy season tickets to the Cardinals and bring their dad with them when he wants to go. LOL

That’s another thing that pisses me off. They are asking for commitment on renewal this week (Jan 8th). They basically want us to commit before they sit on their hands in FA.

This is where I'm at. We had 5 too and already dropped 1.

And the drive home is the worst. They have really assed up the exit strategy this season from lot F. Shut down so many roads to the 101, we have to go miles south to get to the 101 to go North. It's a nightmare. We dread the drive home. Getting there is fine, leaving is traffic hell. And I'm one of those who never leaves a game early.
