I agree that these were two of our easier match-ups this year. Still, good teams lose on the road all the time, so I'm pumped we're 2-0 thus far.

It feels to me we've held back on the aggressive blitz packages thus far. I expect we'll see them over the next two games. If we can't manufacture pressure... I think we may struggle to earn a wild-card slot this year.

I thought the Frosty Rucker pressure, where he completely broke up the hand off to the RB showed a bit of life for our pass rush. Also, we seemed to attack Clausen much more aggressively than we did Cutler, following a plan to allow Cutler to beat himself - and later panic Clausen into mistakes.

We should know next week for sure.

ya... next two weeks with division games at home will tell a lot about this team.

A road game at 10 am and we toss up 48. You all are getting spoiled.

the worst division in football? Great... and the only reason anyone said that is because of their past. Anyone who watched that team last year knows they're done.

were these pundits from Chicago because I don't remember anyone saying that.

where did I discount these wins? Did you not read my post where I said we've beaten two bad teams... WHICH IS WHAT GOOD TEAMS DO?

Sheesh. It's okay to say we beat two bad teams.

There were more than a few so called experts suggesting that the Saints would upset us last week, and given how Chicago played the Packers that they wouldn't be losing two in a row.

we beat two teams who will not be any better than 8-8 come January.

we are supposed to beat these teams.

but it is no reason to be really excited,....they were tune up games and we were fortunate to get them to start the season...it is obvious our squad still has some tuning up to do.
quite possibly the two worst defenses in the NFL.......but we put up almost 90 on them,...which is a good sign.

when the season is over they still add to the tally in the win column.... but our coaching staff needs to keep working on these guys as we do not have too many easy ones upcoming.
we will need to practice draws, quick slants, and screens before we face the Lambs...their front seven are a pack of demon possessed wart hogs and will tear our o-line,...and Carson Palmer,....to pieces if we are not prepared to scheme them out of the game.

I'm excited because a) we did what we should have done and b) they're two conference wins for tie-breakers down the line.

gotta do the same the next two weeks, especially because they're division games.

Worried about the front 7 still. Looked pretty awful pre-Clausen. Also the preseason hype of JJ Nelson and Rodney Gunter was just that.

That said any road win in the NFL is a good win.

Amen!

We have gotten very much pressure on the QB in either the first 2 games.

When we start playing the better teams, this generally separates the contenders from the pretenders!!! Very very concerning. :bang:

My concern entering the season was the D & that hasn't changed, our offense is going to be dynamic.

We average almost 40 points a game!!!! How can we complain. You cant say these teams are bad. Oakland looked terrible last week and just beat Baltimore. Teams look bad 1 week and good another. Chicago was competitive last week with the Packers.

Correct. This is a bunch of CFS. Cardinals Fan Syndrome. You are so used to being bad you can't enjoy the wins without picking them apart and you keep waiting for the next loss.

Vikings looked like a high school team and the 49ers looked amazing last week. Today....completely different. we are 2-0 and lead the league in scoring. Pamer has 7 TDs .

79 points in two games....

that is impressive. no matter who we play.

guess this team is taking issue with the whole "last year's team wasn't that good because of point deferential" crap that was spewed by pretty much everyone in the media it seemed like in the offseason.

what are you talking about? Simply saying the bucs and bears are terrible, doesn't mean fans aren't enjoying this.

jesus guys... it's okay to have perspective so far while enjoying wins.

Here is some perspective for you.

In two games we haven't trailed for a single second in either game.

We are 1/8th through the season and have never been behind. It's ridiculous. You all need to enjoy this...

I think Arians wanted to run the score up because Chicago didn't hire him.

who's not enjoying this? You keep making it out to seem like people are saying we suck, when NO ONE HAS. Stop projecting stupidity on others for simply talking about what the teams needs to do moving forward.

More perspective...But I am pretty sure we have the biggest point differential too. 2nd how do you know the teams are bad after 2 games??? Rams just lost to the Redskins by 14?!?!? There is like only 7-8 teams undefeated after just 2 weeks.

I'm stoked. but I REALLY want to see this D gets aggressive again. They're pressure on the QB away from being a dominant team against anyone.

It is funny because usually people are saying we cant put teams away. We put the Bears away and now we are finding other issues. Every team has issues...But we look awful good. I would play any team right now and I think we can score atleast 24+

more parity in NFL. Anyone can win almost, any given week. Ya gotta make great plays. We've been getting some.

Parity is a real thing in the NFL, but even more so in divisional games. The Bucs for instance have played the Saints very close in each of the last 2 years. Just like how the Rams just got beat pretty handily by the Skins despite beating the Seahawks last week.
