Well, I read that the Saints would be in contention for their division, according to pundits, and that Chicago would be competitive.

But, if you want to discount these wins, feel free.

John Fox has won wherever he's coached. The Bears will be a far better team later in the season. With Cutler & Jeffery, this game goes down to the wire. This is a good road win.

The turnovers right before halftime were the exact types of plays that used to make the Cards implode. Even during the Warner era. This team is just mentally tougher than any past team we've had. They don't crack when faced with adversity. They are not a perfect team, but they are a TEAM.

Parody is a real thing in the NFL, but even more so in divisional games. The Bucs for instance have played the Saints very close in each of the last 2 years. Just like how the Rams just got beat pretty handily by the Skins despite beating the Seahawks last week.

It's parity

79 points in two games....

Correct. This is a bunch of CFS. Cardinals Fan Syndrome. You are so used to being bad you can't enjoy the wins without picking them apart and you keep waiting for the next loss.

Here is some perspective for you.

In two games we haven't trailed for a single second in either game.

We are 1/8th through the season and have never been behind. It's ridiculous. You all need to enjoy this...

Great stuff Chris, keep preaching so we all can enjoy these wins more.

Agree with the entire post and the bolded part is spot on.

the fiasco at the end of the half would have been concerning if we brought that energy into the second half like past Cards teams would have. But they didn't. They came out, got a pick, a score and scored again to step on their throat.

I do agree that we just beat two of the worst teams in the league... but that's what good teams should do. Gotta keep doing it the next two weeks in big division games.

And I'll say this... the NFC just doesn't look that strong right now. The Eagles/Cowboys look pretty mediocre. Packers... they'll be solid and so will Seattle eventually, but there's not a dominant team out there it seems this season.

Just thinking the same thing Cheese.

If Palmer stays healthy all season, we're one of the favorites to make it to the superbowl....

A road game at 10 am and we toss up 48. You all are getting spoiled.

I'm with you.

My Lord man I'm loving it. All I could think of was we have a shot this year. No team in today's cap NFL doesn't have holes.

I like our team.

Glad to see the Cards win on the road. The team seems to be making improvements in these last two games.

what are you talking about? Simply saying the bucs and bears are terrible, doesn't mean fans aren't enjoying this.

jesus guys... it's okay to have perspective so far while enjoying wins.

A note about the defense.

It needs to get better. However, although utler was 8 of 8 for 120 yards most of it was non threatening type completions. Take away the blown coverage on the touchdown pass Cutler would have been 7 of 7 for 72 yards. Not exactly devastating numbers.

The fiasco at the end of the 2nd quarter falls on Arians.

1. If you are going to put Peterson on punt return duty that would have been the time instead of putting him out there when the Bears are trying to pooch one down by the goal line.

Defense bailed him and the team out.

2. With 57 seconds left and on the road with an 11 pt. lead might have been a good time to take the pedal off the metal.

Defense bailed him and the team out again.

I really believe that Arians KNEW there was no way we were going to lose this game based on personel and match ups.

We are a damn good team that I believe is nowhere close to hitting their stride yet we are 2-0, That's what good teams do.

Enjoy!:grabs:

Could you define the Fiasco? Was it JJ's fumble, hardly BA's fault. Do you mean the pick CP threw? I like BA's killer mentality, the players LOVE it. I mean LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Every once in a while a hall of fame player will make a super athletic play and tip a pass and come down with the interception. Small price to pay for all the dividends paid by BA's coaching philosophy.

I agree with the bolded and would say that taking risks with the O is fine because BA also knows his D will have his back. Even if the Bears had score a TD there BA knows his Offense is going to score plenty of points to win the game.

I turned to my wife after the CP pick and said, man do the Cards have a way of screwing up in epic ways. So I get why fans get upset, I do as well. Thing is after a couple of minutes to reflect and calm down I realize I'm over reacting, well at this point in time I'm over reacting because it's no longer SOC.

Cardinals fans have been scorched so many times that we automatically get nervous when bad things start to happen. We are programmed.

Okay, at what point to we realize our current Cards team is a universe different then those of the past?

I think Howie Long was over the top with his juggernaut comment. That needs some perspective imo

ya... next two weeks with division games at home will tell a lot about this team.

Totally agree. I know the offense is better then last year but I'm not sure about this defense.

Agreed. The Saints and Bears are really bad this year. I just hope the team doesn't look past SF to the Rams game, this upcoming week has every making of a trap game.

The Niners are one of our biggest rivals and it's our division opener. There is no chance of it being a trap game.

I read all of them. Number one it's after only two games and we scored almost 50 points on the road at 10a.m. our time. A couple of screwball plays we could have scored more. Have a drink if you need one. A few peanuts. Watch the local sports shows and know that we may get back a starting LG and a star running back. I love football season and we are 2-0!
