Unfortunately, no one with any talent wants to come here. Phoenix Suns are a destination for 2nd tier players.

This is true for the moment but if the Suns can build depth behind Len, Warren and Markieff the Suns might be able to start winning. Bledsoe and Knight in the backcourt is not bad. My hope is the Suns can start winning if they build their bench.

Its funny, but getting players to "buy in" is the key to the perception of a good front office. Getting the wrong second tier player is just poison, getting the right one makes all the difference.

Putting IT and Goran on the same team just killed our rep around the league. Grant Hill's presence was a real help years ago.

I am all for rebuilding with quality players who are also quality people.

No argument there but the Suns still have to show they can win.

man... if I'm the Cavs and there's any way that Love would consider going home to Oregon, I'd try to swing a Love for Aldridge sign and trade and blow off Thompson and his ridiculous call for a MAX deal. I mean, if Portland knows Aldridge is gonzo, you couldn't ask for anything better then to get Love in return especially if it looks like they're going to lose him for nothing.

Kyrie/LeBron/Aldridge would be an insane big 3.

Totally agree, however the Suns need to break up or get rid of the Morris twins. IMO that is critical.

I think the Suns will have to wait until the legal situation is cleared up.

It seems crazy to think that Kevin Love would simply walk away from the Cleveland Cavaliers considering the talent on the roster, though the idea of playing at home seems to be very intriguing to Love who allegedly wanted to be traded to a California-based team before agreeing on a deal to the Cavs.

A Southern California native, it’s clear why Kevin Love would like to play for the Lakers though he’d be leaving a near perfect situation in Cleveland.

He went to college at UCLA and could theoretically “return home” to be Los Angeles’ next superstar after Bryant inevitably retires within the next couple of years.

I'm not sure that the new rules with sign and trades make this possible. I know you cannot sign and trade guys if you're over or will go over the cap, but Portland is well under and Cleveland is... probably enough under, not quite sure. I also know you cannot S&T guys who've just been given the 5 year "only the team with his bird rights can offer" contract, so both would need to take 4 year deals, which would probably make Portland balk at helping Cleveland when they could just sign Love to the same deal on their own (assuming he's interested). Also, and this part I'm totally clueless on, I don't know that two S&T guys can be swapped in the same deal.
