Exactly, it is the speed difference in the NFL that will limit his coverage ability. You play to player's strengths and adjust. Dansby allowed Bowles more flexibility but really he could not cover a TE either all that well... look at what TEs did to us lol

So who was Dansby covering to get 19 pass deflections? 16 more than Paris Lenon in '12. Of course our opponents had 625 pass attempts in 2013 compared to 497 the year before.

And the TE still hurt us, meaning the deflections did not add up because a large amount of passes where directed at the TE which did get completed. I think Dansby can cover a TE about as good as one can expect which is unfortunately not got enough because he is a LB and therefore teams traditionally seem to use a safety on TEs. The Cardinal defense appears to be built on the opinion of making the defense beat us with the TE and a TE is never good enough no matter the stats to win a game when all the other options are covered
