The Ravens' QB has had a couple of good games lately. What's his contract status? If he's going to be a FA, might be worth considering as a young vet to compete for the job in training camp. Or would he be another Josh McCown?

Boller and McCown are pretty much the same player and I'm pretty sure BAL will stick with Boller after how well he played in the Vikes game and a few games before that. I've never liked Boller, but he is improving. He did this last year also and there was even talk of him as a Pro Bowler but then he went right back to his inconsistency. I personally wouldn't want him, it's taken him several years to adjust to the Ravens offense and it would take a year for him to adjust to ours and couple that with the beating he would take and Warner is clearly the better player for the Cardinals.

This is funny, since I sent this to one of my friends who is a die hard Ravens fan the other day... he wasn't very happy about it. He's an upgrade over Boller though, imo.

He is no Anthony Wright or Tony Banks.

Once they fire Billick maybe Green can bring him back as oc.

That would be sweet, in a manly sort of way

For the life of me, I can't figure out what is the Ravens' fixation with that Boller kid. He stinks, IMO. I read somewhere that they were thinking of sending him to see a sports psychologist!

I hope they hang onto him. That would mean another top QB prospect might fall to us.

If he were available and we lost McCown, I'd love to take a look at the kid. Yeah, he hasn't done much in his time there, but the last few weeks he's looked outstanding. Hard to say if he can keep it up, but on a low-risk contract, why not?
